Spuddy 10 Posted January 29, 2017 Hi guys, my name is Spencer, been browsing this forum for a while now in the backround but thought I'd finally say hello and show my rado. I'm a ex main dealer tech from audi, and since leaving them a few years back I now work with my dad part time doing audio/visual installations, and also sub contracting out to a few engineering companies who deal with all sorts from classic car resto's to prototype electric car builds. As well as all that I also run my own vw/audi group specialist garage in the evenings and weekends which keeps me pretty busy! On to my rado, I've got a 94 tornado red, originally a 2.0 8v. Picked it up from a good friend on my local club last March time. It had been barn stored for a while and was in pretty good nick. The main thing for me was no rust and its a really solid example. I've since converted it to a 20vt and hoping to do plenty more (time permitting) this year including fresh paint, new wheels and more power. Anyway, I'll let the pics say the rest. Thats how it's looked when I picked it up.. Went a little different to the norm and I'm running a charge cooler rather than intercooler Excuse the messy bay, it's all a bit unfinished as I still have further plans, I just wanted to drive it! Hope you all like it! Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk

Its supposed to be buried in the ground 300mm but the building I'm currently in isn't for long term so by the end of this year I will hopefully have the new unit built and ramp installed properly lol Thanks, I'm over in old Buckenham, norfolk. Its only very small at the moment, just building up my equipment and diagnostics with what I earn from it, and I don't advertise, I just have word of mouth customer Base as such. But I'm hoping one day in the future it will become a more full time thing. 👍 Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk

robrado974 1 Posted January 29, 2017 Great idea with the boxes though , I could have done with those before I stripped the underside off .

Yeah even if you don't have a ramp, they are really handy for being able to scoot about underneath. Also when I chuck them outside I can wash the underside of vehicles easily!
