Bfstrachan 10 Posted June 7, 2017 This just started to happen today. When I move the wiper stalk to start they will just keep going even when the stalk is returned to off position. When I turn the engine off, they stop, but as soon as I move the wiper stalk they will just keep wiping :) Any ideas? Dox 23 Posted June 7, 2017 Three thoughts, one is the wiper stalk, the other is the park function on the motor itself - the motor will have an earth, live from the stalk and an ignition live and lastly the wiper relay including intermittent wipe function. I think I'd open up the wiper relay and check for dry solder joints, reflowing them if need be

I had a quick look at the relay and it looks good. The motor is my next stop. We had torrential rain the last couple of days and maybe that has has caused some issue? Dox 23 Posted June 8, 2017 As it resets with the ignition off, I'd change the relay first, does the relay click when the wipers wont turn off?
Bfstrachan 10 Posted June 8, 2017 As it resets with the ignition off, I'd change the relay first, does the relay click when the wipers wont turn off? The relay doesn't click, but there is a bit of a squeal from the relay when I lift the stall to engage the wipers... 1990 Corrado 2.0 bottom end, flowed / ported KR head. Dox 23 Posted June 8, 2017 I'd have a really good look at the circuit for dry joints and clean up the contacts by sliding a piece of wet or dry paper between them
Bfstrachan 10 Posted June 13, 2017 Replaced the relay with the no 99 one and all is well again. Thanks for the help :) 1990 Corrado 2.0 bottom end, flowed / ported KR head.
