somersetdub 0 Posted February 3, 2018 Hi all, I am looking for a decent Vr6 engine, with low miles or rebuilt etc.. I really only need a decent bottom end, but will purchase an engine complete. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
VEEDUBBED 0 Posted February 4, 2018 Well, i still have an ABV bottom end with only 19.000km's run.. Any good? Only problem is that i'm across the pond from you.

somersetdub 0 Posted February 6, 2018 The intermediate shaft snapped on the one in my car and starved it of oil.. I had a spare 2.8 AAA engine from my friends car which was a nice engine, but unfortunately he rolled the car and when I stripped the engine down I found that too had suffered from oil starvation when it was rolled and killed the big ends and scored the crank. So basically I have two engines which have both been ruined due to oil starvation! I just need a decent bottom end really, I have a good recon head from my engine. Geeba 0 Posted February 6, 2018 Didn't you go forced induction?
Geeba 0 Posted February 6, 2018 Strip it down... get it hot tanked, get the crank ground, new bearings and rods, hone and new rings, low compression pistons. That way you know its good. second hand lumps are always an unknown.
somersetdub 0 Posted February 6, 2018 I would rather find a decent known good engine after being let down by my fully rebuilt engine. Plus it’ll be cheaper. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
