FS: Brand new Bilstein B12 kit 20/25mm shocks and springs VR6

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Bought a few months ago for £595 from Larkspeed. KIt includes Bilstein B8 shocks and eibach springs.

Open to Offers. Postage will be £30 or collection from Potters Bar/J24 M25.

Selling because mounting costs with bodywork are turning my hand and I still have an ABS repair to do before the MOT runs out in August.

Cheers,

Matt

Thanks! yes it is back now and it didn’t cost as much as i thought it might.

Just have an issue with the sunroof not retracting to solve.

Doesn’t appear to jam or move out of alignment - it drops down to start retracting but then just stops. There’s resistance when I try with the Allen key as well.

Just had a thought - is the motor clever enough to work out where the roof mech is in relation to its last known position on the motor? I wonder if the motor thinks it’s got to the end of the retraction but hasn’t in reality.

The other thing I was going to do at the weekend was remove the metal sunroof lid and see if it works without it. Just incase it is catching and I’ve it noticed.

sounds like fault with the mechanism buddy especially if there is resistance when using the manual option
