fla 9 Posted August 3, 2018 Ive bought a set with a view to swoppong the orginal ones. The connector pins are much thinner than those in the normal switches so my concern is whether they can handle the current. If not are there any micro relays or other switch mods that can be used to install them as replacements for the standard switches?
GrahamU 6 Posted August 3, 2018 The power to the window motor comes from the control unit not the switch so you will be ok to use those switches

GrahamU 6 Posted August 4, 2018 I dont have one for a mk6 but I do for a new beetle which should use the same design Unfortunately though it looks like they are not compatible From the diagrams, the corrado switch has 2 outputs one for up and one for down but the later switches only have 1 output, the switches contain resistors and gives a different voltage depending on which way they are pressed
