Reddy VR6 10 Posted March 23, 2019 Hi, I am after a complete original first aid kit for my 1994 VR6. If it was produced in 94 that would be a bonus, but not essential. I also require a black handbrake interior trim ( part number 535711463 ) I am after one that has no splits down the sides and unmarked on the top. If it is slightly split, but repairable on the bottom then that is fine. I understand undamaged ones are difficult to find ! Cheers Justin
Cressa 44 Posted March 23, 2019 Anna sorted out a great reproduction of the first aid kits at VW Heritage. May be worth a look. I and others have purchased them, with the items inside being within a useable date if needed. I'm certainly happy with mine.
Reddy VR6 10 Posted March 26, 2019 Thanks for the info Cressa. Do you mean the ones they advertise on VW heritage, that are missing the VW Audi script off the front ? I am really after an original one, as aiming to keep the car as original as possible. Anna sorted out a great reproduction of the first aid kits at VW Heritage. May be worth a look. Reddy VR6 10 Posted March 27, 2019 I assume you mean the ones without the vw / audi motif that are on the vw heritage site ? I am keener to get hold of an original kit, as I want to keep the car as original as possible. Thanks Justin
fendervg 33 Posted March 27, 2019 You'll need to replace the contents anyway as they will be well out of date at this stage. Does it really matter that much - there's very little difference between the original one and the ones you buy now, and at least it will be usable. Otherwise, keep an eye on German fleabay - they come up there once in a while.
_Matt_ 32 Posted March 27, 2019 Shame everything is out of date - my first aid kit is still in its original shrink wrap.
