Rear door card bottom 'arm' fitment

Recommended Posts

Just beginning to tidy the car up a bit and was wondering what the correct method of attaching the bottom arm of the rear door cards should be to prevent them inadvertently getting broken off. I usually try and force the door trim back slightly to trap them under, but this means the rubber then sits above the door card but under the trim.

Welcome any suggestions or indeed any pics of your installs.

I'm glad you posted both as put mine back in this weekend and didn't think the 1 inch gap looked right on mine. Maybe I have the kick trims on the wrong side as assume the kick trim holds the bottom of the door card too? 083dcce820bc94283d391613f61bd001.jpg

Yes i think so.  One of mine has broken at the weakest point so will need repairing at some stage.

Btw, those door scuff plates look different - any more pics of those?

Thanks Cressa I will re do mine.

Fla here they are. I got them off ebay. I've picked up the embossed corrado black ones so might take them off although I fear I will pull paint off so may not.

And one of the car in its half put back together state. Its been back to a shell (engine didnt come out) and I mostly spent time sorting the underside.8429845a18a1edcfac23b2b8d6a34d7e.jpg993e23a8252c99a6b33f03a60c09e1a0.jpg
