evenin all, just thinkin of all the different types of engines that have been put in the corrado, was just on this american site where this dudes transplanted a cosworth engine runnin at 450bhp..... :shock: :shock: ....., i think the audi S2 engine would make a good conversion or even maybe a porker engine........if ur crazy enough :evil:

Or maybe the 900+ bhp TVR V8?

Now how would that work with front wheel drive?? :wink:

Badly! :lol: although that engine AND RWD would be a little more interesting... ;) :D

 

There've been quite a few different VAG engines used in Corrados over the years...

 

1.9 TDI

1.8 20VT

2.0 20VT (running something silly like 400bhp IIRC)

1.4 (yeah, I don't get that one either, but it was in Autotrader not too long ago... :? )

R32 engine (not seen this one yet, but I know it has been done)

and probably many other Audi lumps too...

altho not really a corrado :?

 

i saw a mid/rear engined 24v twin turbo one, not sure what size the engine was tho

 

and a 20v with a screwcharger
