ShockVR6 0 Posted August 10, 2004 Im pretty sure ive got an electrical fault on my vr6, the first thing is that sometimes the headunit and amp just decide to turn off and then come back on again when they like, could be a few seconds or half hour. second thing is the battery goes flat if a leave the car for three days. third thing is that the car stalls sometimes and idles very low at 400 alot of the time. Not sure if this is anything electrical. i recently replaced the idle stabalizer valve thing as it split in half. I reset the ecu and all seemed fine until a couple of days later. Help !! dazzyvr6 0 Posted August 10, 2004 first thing to do is to check the stereo woring,look for any loose wiring etc,the amp shouldnt turn on till the head unit itself is turned on,and with the battery check there is no short any where,ive left mine for 5 -7 days before now with no problems,and the 3rd one is to check/replace the coolant sensor Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
