magicrat1 0 Posted August 24, 2004 Just went over to northern germany and felt like a celebrity in my RHD VR6. Even the polizei loved it! Two fellas in a car park were slack jawed, and mouthed, co-ra-do! Only saw one rado in the whole ten days i was germany. Expected a rado fest. Instead saw one german chav in an ageing 16V with massive tyres who did'nt wave.

Tempest 0 Posted August 24, 2004 Yes, it is true, that you don;t see that many Rado or Roccos for that matter in Germany. They're kept more and more as sunshine-only, special occasion cars, some still use them as daily drivers. But generally I've found as well, that I manage to see more of both in Blighty than in Germany (where I go to visit my parents now and then, always keeping both eyes open for Rados and Roccos). Then again, I'll be seeing loooooaaads of Roccos and a few Rados starting Friday next week whilst over in Germany :D :D Tempest
magicrat1 0 Posted August 25, 2004 Yes "Chavness" is spreading. Apologies to any forum Chavs? However is forum chav an oxymoron? A friend of mine has a '69 E Type and gets Classic Car. The Rado section was spot-on, however the picture was pure bilge. A mutant rado with a body kit and a bonnet vent. Oh and a new style supra rear spoiler. So the active one is not enough? Chav's car?
