LDZ2555 0 Posted August 30, 2004 Hi i have just brought a 25 row mocal oil cooler without fittings and wondered what kind of a job it is to fit and where the best place to get fittings from would be? Where do the pipes come off that go to the cooler so i can be pretty clued up when it arrives thanks
yellowslc 0 Posted August 30, 2004 you need the sandwich adaptor plate which bolts to the front of the engine along with or in lieu of the factory oil/water heat exchanger.
LDZ2555 0 Posted August 31, 2004 Thanks for that yellow slc i asked mocal about it and he explained it in more detail it sounds pretty straight forward is it?
yellowslc 0 Posted September 1, 2004 Yes.. very straight forward. Be sure to use quality lines and fittings (-AN) so you do not have any leaks.
Henny 0 Posted September 5, 2004 25row? Sheesh, that bugger's gonna run cold! Mine's got a 19row on it and runs in the low 80s to mid 90s on a heavy run (oil temps!) a 25 row will struggle to ever get more than a couple of degrees above the thermostat's opening temp IMHO...
