VR's on NOS

Just a few questions for those of you that are running nos on ur VR's

 

Wot sort of bhp kits are you running?

wot u think should be the 'max' bhp kit for a VR

also how well does a VR handle NOS in terms of damage to ur engine can they tek it or do you just end up burning rings etc

 

and last how would you describe the result

100 BHP

With a progressive controller upto (on a std motor) 150-200 bhp

 

also how well does a VR handle NOS in terms of damage to ur engine can they take it or do you just end up burning rings etc

 

They can handle it well...as long as its fuelling right !! Misshapes occur from lack of experience when setting the kit up (running to lean)

Been running my kit for over a one and a half years an a 145k motor....she still purrs :wink:

Other lads been using there's for 2-3 years !!

Go from a Corrado to a Cerrera turbo by a flick of a switch !! NUTS

 

Also ..the cynics on here say you cant put over 200bhp let alone 300-350 bhp through front wheels ect ...

 

Rubbish ...the corrado can put the power down very well without lighting up front wheels much better than most front wheel drive cars... 8)

and with no mechanical failures

I'm gona get stick for this...lol

Agree with the above.

 

75bhp seems to be the advised maximum for single shot injection though James, me and Paul have all ran 100bhp nos with no probs for years.

Above this you need to use a progressive controller and retard your ignition 2-4degrees!
