Mine made the same warning beep when I was canning it around a tight bend.... 8) I had a fit when I found that my oil was so low that it didn't even show on the dipstick! The shame of it.... However, DON'T over fill it with oil and then think that if it is burning a bit it won't matter, and it was "only a bit over filled anyway"...
