Corrado/VW Specialists

This is intended for anyone in the Ireland area. :)

 

Is there a Stealth/AMD/all-the-other-specialists-in-England equivalent in this little island? (closer to Belfast the better - though I am willing to travel)

 

I'm asking because, though I've found a competent friendly mechanic in Belfast (a difficult thing I think you'll agree), I think my car would benefit from a trip to a specialist - just to sort out all the little niggles that have both me and my mechanic stumped. Someone with the experience with these cars to see a problem and come up with a diagnosis, and be capable of fixing it.

 

Also is there any such thing as a veedub meet or something here? Am interested in getting involved in that sort of thing, but only hear about the big ones in England??

if you don't mind a trip across the water to bonnie scotland there's always AmD's agents Star-performance,glenrothes,fife.....about 2-3 hours away from stranraer and they've a pretty good reputation.....and of course Vwccgb members get discount too

Hi Paul,

 

Just posted a message on the Problem section re:chugging and another re:smoking G60. So fed up was I with 3 indie garages not being able to tell me what was wrong that i left it to Isaac Agnew's on Boucher and told them what was wrong. Left the car in yesterday morning, picked it up last night at 6. Left the showroom £167 lighter but with a much faster car. Even smoked a CRX on the M2.

yea, I use them loads for spare parts, and have to say they've always been very helpful. And whats more, bar 1 occasion, all the orders have been right!

As for servicing, they told me some time ago they had binned the corrado manuals...... Obviously somebody still knows what they are doing.
