dinkus 10 Posted October 1, 2004 Nah, I cut those off with a stanley knife  Not really.....They're acutally Hankooks, so not *too* shabby and have reasonable meat on them, so I'll stick them up on eBay for £180 each as they're "Special" Corrado tyres  I did cut the baldy one off though...... pretty hard work, LOL! But had to try it  Ooh Hankooks! They were still shite tho  Yeah I can imagine it wasn't too easy! They're (luckily) not the softest of things in the world. craigowl 0 Posted October 1, 2004 My lad found that Michelin Pilots were really quiet - though, expensive.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted October 2, 2004 The Pilot Sports are very good, but not a viable option at £400+ a set! The Pilot Exaltos are good too.....

vr6corrado 0 Posted October 4, 2004 The best price I was quoted was £250 for four Goodyear F1's fully inclusive but unfortunately they didn't have them in stock and when they rang Goodyear were told they had been replaced by the NCT5. Anyway I have ended up with four Michelin Exalto tyres for £260. Good price and from a reputable place! WIll let you know how I get on.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted October 4, 2004 Mytyres.co.uk are good on price..... got 4 Bridgestone RE720s for £220ish inc delivery and VAT and some tyre fitters will fit and balance em for £20 cash if you ask them nicely  I went to one such place at the weekend and he said more and more people are turning up to fitters with their own tyres these days...... I wonder why, when the best they could do on those RE720s was £86 a corner (fitted)
Dilated 0 Posted October 4, 2004 Drop my friend Alex an email at http://www.edgetuning.co.uk - They have started to get tyres in now and are doing some really good prices. (Comparable to mytyres.co.uk I think!)
