Hey Ross, they do look good, I have a set of 16" wheels at the moment, but got my hand on a set of 15's so swaying towards them at the moment
-
That what I was thinking as well, what if I was to run 16's?
-
Cheers mate that is a big help. Yours looks sweet, what does it drive like on 15's, as alot people say 16's are better? Also what size are yours and what size tyres you running?

Hi all, I am thinking of selling my beloved Corvette C4 Salad Shooters, they are 9.5" x 16" and 8.5" x 16" with 205/40/16's and 195/40/16's ET24 and they are 5x120. They do have some curbing on the lips, so will need redoing the lips, come with 4x good tyres. looking for £900 or swaps. I do also have adapters to suit these wheels from 4x100>5x120 that can be bought separately. Cheers Bobby

Cheers guys for all the help, and mic_VR, I know, I love the corvette wheels, but I may get rid of these and run different wheels
-
I here what you are saying mate, I think the 20mm adapters are the right size, any bigger I would need to bring my arches out and do not want to that. I personally think it is the camber that may of caused the the tear in the tyre, so I will take the camber out and see the difference. Although I am thinking I may sell my wheels and get something else as well. Thanks for the advise mate, also I did not take it intentional, just fact.

Guys these were the wheels and tyres that were on the car when I bought the car. In regards to those stupid spacers, they were again with the car, I actually have these ones: http://www.g23engineering.com/products/custom/offset-bolt-type-adapter.html Which are 20mm Offset Bolt Type Adapter to allow fitment for these wheels, from a 4x100>5x120, those stupid littles spacers are on there just to dive it a little bit of extra poke, they would not have caused this. In regards to the inner tyres wall, when I bought the car, it did not have the right adapters on there and noticed a bit of rubbing on the suspension on the inner tyre wall. Then when I bought the right adapters I fitted the wheel and checked for clearance and there was about a inch of clearance between the suspension and the tyres. I have drove the car with these adapters on there for over 4 weeks or so and had no issue, and then suddenly this happened, so that is what has got be baffled. The only thing I can come to to running with not enough air in the tyre?

Cheers for the advise guys, and yes these are streched on 9.5 x 16's with 205/40/16
-
Also will the manufactures do anything as these are streched?
-
I will be checking this later tonight and they are Nankangs
-
Yes streched tyres, but luckily I was at a slow speed
-
That could actually be a issue, but did not feel like it was?

Hi all, I am a amateur when it comes to camera's and would love some advise. My wife said to me yesterday she wants to buy me a camera and wants to spend £400 on one, what is the best one I should go for in that price bracket? I will be using this camera for taking pics at car shows, holidays, family pics, days out etc. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks Bobby
