Hi all, Basically I can get my hand on a 1.8T complete engine with loom, and ignition barrel and key, so basically everything i need. I am not sure which model the engine is, but can find out later tonight. Also how can I tell what engine code the engine is? I have a 1991 corrado KR 1.8 16v and my question is this a straight fit into my engine bay? will it fit onto my subframe, will I need to alter the driveshafts and will the loom just plug into my original loom, will I need to change the gear linkage and lever, will I need to change the pedal box, ect? Can I do the conversion over a weekend? How easy will this be to do? Please shed some light on this and share some thoughts please. Cheers Bobby

Hi all, I have a 1991 corrado 1.8 16v and have got a stainless steel exhaust system on there at the moment. Basically my car is sitting very low and the centre box scrapes alot (i think). I also get a tinny noise when I move off in 1st gear and when there is a uneven road surface. The exhaust is loose, so I need to change the exhaust mountings. So I am assuming its just my centre box scraping the floor or is there a heat plate that could be loose and making this noise. Basically can I remove this centre box and put a straight pipe in for a replacement and only run the rear box? And is there a heat plate, that could be making this tinny noise? All help is really appreciated Cheers Bobby

Hi All, I have just recently come back into the dub scene and have bought myself a Corrado, the car I always loved from when they first come out. It a 1991 1.8 16v on Corvette C4 Sawblades 8.5" x 16" with 195/45/16's on the front and 9.5" x 16" with 205/45/16's on the back. Hope you guys and girls like it. Also I will be asking probably alot of help in the future, as I plan to turbo the engine to make it a 1.8 16v Turbo Here are a few pics of my pride and joy. Cheers Bobby
