-
thats interesting about it blunting throttle response to be honest i have never run the filter without the cold air pipe to see if there is any difference maybe next time i go out for a run i will take it off and see if there is any change
-
my views to the canister is fitted and is there for a reason so if not needed to remove it then why remove it the top pic kinda shows it under the filter
-
i relocated the carbon canister with mine and fitted the tube down in its hole to behind the bumper the carbon canister fits flat under where the cda fits and also acts as something to keep the air filter up so it fills the space nicley

hi thanks for the replies the of has a specific psu for this kind of purpouse it is 12v and turns the pc on when it get both a feed from the battery and the 1st switch ignition and then when the key is pulled out it will shut down the pc propperly the after a min it kills the 5v rail that is allways active on a normal pc And I have a wierles thing for updates ect I'm also thinking of rigging up a second connection with a mains psu so I can just run a mains cable out from the house and the whole pc system can run so I can do bigger updates without having to worry about my battery

hi all thanks for the comments yes the bit around the screen is leather it is a temp fill at the moment till i work out a better plan i have quite a tight space to work with and want the screen to sit at the level it is recessed in so i can create a blank pannel to cover it if left in dodgy places maybe with some fake dial faces on or something not saying where i live is bad or my car security is poor cos its most deff not but i have allways been of the vue that they cant be tempted buy what they cant see!!!! i think maybe a fiberglass hand crafted surround with a usb socket or two sunk in so i can plug a memory stick with updates and more media ect but for the moment the messy bit is hidden by the leather and its got a blank leather covered pannel for night time !! thanks for posting the picks they are usefull to see others ideas any one also done this in a corrado would be good to see thee ideas

hi we the fitting of the front seats is quite straight forward i havent got any pics of the mounts as yet but i will try to explain we used a steal square bar accross the back and flaired the ends to fit into the mount rail then bolted the runners fron the tt seats through this bar then at the font you have two mounts on the tt runners we drilled two holes in the cross member that the original raddo seat fitted to and you can put a bolt up through a nearby hole in the cross member to bolt down the tt seat thus resulting i 4 strong fixings in the 4 corners the seats sit in a good position and have there full range of adjustment i will try and take some pics of the fixing for you so you can see it more clearly and ill post them in the next few days

well i have had a weekend off from work s i thought id tackle the interior for the car i know how the front seats will fit so turned my attention to the rears we found it not to be to difficault we used the arms at the side of the seats to mount to the original mount points and fabricated a plate for the centre to mount from one of the audi plates its more clear with pictures now they are all fitted and look ok just need to sort out a fitment to hold the tops in and something to fill in the gap at the top corners and i still have the ability to fold the seats down
