1. Interior pictures as requested.
2. Exactly the same, I had to cut the extra hanger off too. I'd still recommend one and would go as far to suggest from VW Heritage as they offered a top service when I bought mine, plus being black Friday I'm sure they were knocking 25% off stuff.
3. Seen them range from £1000 to £9000. Best bet is to get out there and look at a few, which was sole destroying when I was looking as some on the market a one step from the scrappers. I currently have my 92 valver for sale at £2K in full knowledge that I could break her for more, but this I wouldn't want to see. As for loosing a fortune, you shouldn't as but you'll never get the hours of work back that you'll put into them or the cost of any goodies.
4. Just worked out the mileage since it's engine rebuild of 20/03/2010 and it's about 35K. I thought it was more but that'd explain why she's still pulls well.
5. Piccy when she sat on Schmidts Front end with Kamei eyebrow Under bonnet pre SWG
6. Will be if it sells, but until now I'll continue enjoying it (although that doesn't happen so much now as only doing about 2k miles a year now due to working from home)
7. My current lust for a TT continues so without further a do I'll advertise my motor to see what interest I get. My signature lists most of the good bits but a picture (taken this lunch time) paints a 1000 words. Signature doesn't mention Momo steering wheel (plus original), SWG scuttle or kamei eyebrow spoiler, pill key, cat 1 alarm, factory Corrado mats and first aid kit (this list may grow when I remember bits) Bad bits - some lacquer peel and other age related marks. She isn't mint, but definitely solid and way better than others I looked at. Would rather she goes to a enthusiast who'll run her rather than break her for parts. Looking for £2k ono (plus another £300 if you want the Alpine 7" DVD/sat nav system) PM any questions or call me zero seven 949 two six zero 2 zero 1 (evenings or weekends are best) Stuart. P.S. almost didn't post this.
8. Well I looked at 2, but bought none (one nice/one was a dog). Despite having to cut the child's feet off, I could probably live with one. The only problem I have is I'd have to sell the Corrado.

Hi fella. An ISV is pictured and can be found to the right of the head, just by the dizzy. The shutter can be is visible down the 90 degree hose outlet. You can't go wrong. Stuart.
10. Had my Corrado for almost 3 years now and whilst I love it to bits, I keep feeling the lust for an early TT. I've not driven one as yet but would be considering a 225 or the 3.2 if any and wonder how it'll compare. Anyone had any experience with TT's?
11. Shine a torch behind the expansion tank so you can see the water level easier. You may have a leak so keep an eye on it and carry some premixed coolant round with you until the problem is sorted. I chased a leak for ages, with nothing obvious at first, then found the bottom thermostat flange had gone.

The shutter at rest should have a small gap. If free it can be carefully pushed round and should spring back. From memory I think it rotates closing the small gap first but then opens a bigger gap. I should be relatively free to move so don't got forcing it.

Ouch. I tend to get 300-400 miles from a tank full depending on where I've been. My commute is only 12 miles made up of 5 urban, 5 fast moors and 2 nose to tail stop/start. Remove and clean your ISV (I block one end, fill with brake cleaner and soak for 5) and make sure the shutter moves freely.

Yes, I have several spares from thinking the ISV was at fault. Tezedes, also clean your ISV if you haven't already.

Had similar issues with mine which only seemed to occur when it got warm. I'd checked for intake leaks by spraying round with brake cleaner to see any affect on revs but nothing so thought I'd ruled out an intake leak and started to look elsewhere. Whilst looking elsewhere (when it was hunting) I rested my hand on the elbow on top of the metering head and it stopped. This had no visible damage but may have a hairline split that only showed up when warm. I didn't investigate or check the elbow, I just replaced for one I had in my spares pile. Going on my experience, I'd have a good look/press round for an intake leak and make sure everything is secured.
16. I found the need and upgraded to the 280mm G60 setup. I'd upgrade again but only if they fit under my ETA Beta Lucy's which these obviously won't.
17. You may wish to disclose your location and give an idea of budget as there's no point in being offered a £10K minter if you have £2K to spend. Also why discount the 2.0 and VR?
18. Got a blank (obviously a copy) from Ebay for £20 and like how it looks.
19. Bought myself a pill key recently as I needed a 2nd key and liked the look of them (plus I got to tell the child the led is a laser beam). Anyway the vast array of costs for the blank got me thinking (upto £70, I think not) as to whether were they an original option on the Corrado?
20. and another for this. Had HID's fitted in some inpro's and the light was bright, but horrible on wet/dark country roads so went back to the standard setup with relays
21. Then this may be of use well the callipers at least - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/288mm-VW-CORRADO-GOLF-CONVERSION-FRONT-REAR-BRAKE-CALIPERS-DRILLED-AND-SLOTTED-/172361850925?hash=item282191202d:g:nvIAAOSwFV9Xyaqd
22. Hi Jonny, I can't help with the conversion but would question if it's worth it for 8mm larger discs. I recently went from 256mm to 280mm and there is a bit better bite to them, but it's only really noticed if pressing on a bit.

Hello all

Welcome fellow valver owner.
24. I think I'll leave em in stock for the time being and maybe sell them for millions in 20 years time (if only)
