1. Re-tumbled my door locks to match the ignition/boot. Bit fiddly but not too bad.
2. I have in my garage a pair of wings in fabulous condition that I bought with the intention of replacing my wings which are suffering a bit of the dreaded lacquer peel on one and a spot of rust on the other. The wings were sold as flash red, but turns out they are tornado which rubbished my bolt off/bolt on idea and puts me back to plan A:- my wings need painting. So to my question - are wings a problem to get hold of or should I free up the garage a bit and sell em to fund spraying my existing wings?
3. I have a similar feeling about owning a valver and it also extends to when I read about VR6 chains.
4. This needed its own thread to find the culprit.
5. Unmarked bikes = cheating. Still amused me that the car attempts to keep up with the bike from the lights....maybe round the corners, but not a chance from the lights.

8. I have the same fitted to mine with spade connectors on the wires so they plug into the original cluster plug. The standard reverse/fog bulb holders clip into the middle lights.
9. Sounds like you've covered everything so my only suggestion would be to turn the radio up.
10. Cheers fella. I wouldn't mind a new key at the same time - are these best cut from the code (that I don't have) or just by copying the key?
11. Don't know how many I'll need to do the door locks. Let me know costs. It was mid 30's in Rome when I visited and despite melting, I found it one the best capital I've visited......I need to go back.

Fuse box cubby clips?

It's definitely not a pop in and you can have a couple. PM me your address and I'll pop a couple in the post.
13. Just a bit, but I've love to pop over for some ;)
14. After my recent alarm woes, I was reminded that my door locks don't match the ignition or boot. Whilst this isn't a problem, I thought I'd have a go at re-tumbling the locks so all match and looking at the guide (http://wiki.the-corrado.net/re_tumbing_locks.html) it seems pretty straight forward (I hope it is) So before I attempt to tackle this, does anyone have any spare tumblers they want to sell me as I don't fancy shelling out £40 for a huge bag of them from the stealers. Stuart.

Fuse box cubby clips?

I think the ones I went for are 10mm. By the way, I have some spare if your near by.

Fuse box cubby clips?

Hens teeth they are and usually sell for way too much. I use this type of clip on mine - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10X-HONDA-CIVIC-TOURER-JAZZ-Push-Trim-Panel-Fastener-Clips-9-10mm-/221651897001?hash=item339b7b8aa9:g:ERsAAOSw6aVUp-cp
17. I have one for a 16v but dunno if they use the same part. It came with a metering head I wanted. I've not used the box part as it's drilled like Swiss cheese.
18. Thanks for the offer Sanky, but no need as "it lives". Cobra tech support were brilliant, so much so that I'd buy another cobra alarm on the strength of it. I gave them a serial number (found on a sticker on the circuit board that was just visible) and they gave me a pin and some instructions that relate to many models including mine. Bit of a faff later and some annoyance to neighbours (whoo whoo whoo whoo) and after a 3rd attempt got the fob to sync up again and work.
19. Saw this add and thought of your woes - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Corrado-Mk1-Mk2-Golf-Rallye-G60-Engine-And-SuperCharger-/112154261208?hash=item1a1cea36d8:g:YE0AAOSwNRdX73SV
