In thinking about installing a water methanol injection kit to my g60 for a bit of extra performance but il be honest I know very little about it and have never spoken to anyone who's used it. So has anyone got any experience in this? Pro's con's?

I'm looking for a good chip to put into my g60 and get it re mapped over the winter but with loads to choose from I'm lost. Can anyone recommend me a good chip to go for and if you've got any details on the power increase even better. Thanks

I smashed my sump tonight on a rock on the way to the girlfriends, was hoping to go to edition 38 this weekend. Does anyone know if the mk2 golf 1.8gti sump is the same as the one on my g60?? Really want to get it sorted!!

I didn't even realise you could get a 50mm pulley!! what do you mean by overdriving the supercharger? I'm confident in my charger though, I sent it down to john last year and he said it was in very good condition! I was considering going for a stage 5 porting but I don't know much about it the effects yet. New camshaft was on the list along with FMI, ported and polished head and inlet along with a good chip and remap. I was also thinking about getting it to a 1.9 but once again not sure how to go about doing this?????

Glad to know it can be done, it's not necessarily going to be a daily but will be nice to know I can trust it if I take it for a long journey. Do you think I will struggle to get that sort of power down without a LSD? Are yours selling you JMC??

I'm in the process of making plans for my winter engine overhaul and I'm looking for advice/ideas in what to do to get some more power (240-250ish) out of the girl while keeping some reliability! So any advice???

Yeah it is the factory colour, think it's called tornado red. There was 4 different variations though

im looking to get my G60 remapped and rolling roaded in the next month. can anyone recommend some where that does good quality remaps?? closer to Suffolk the better :grin:

Cheers dude, was you up there in yours? I spotted two other rados but didn't have time to have a look around as I was busy sorting stuff out! Where can u find these centre caps and they do them for the schmidts yeah?

Cheers, yeah they came out really well. Just need to repaint the calipers and that! I was a bit pushed for time!
