Corrado Euge

Saw a Mauve 16v being parked at Parklands offices in Queen Elizabeth Park Guildford. Nice colour but needed a clean ;) Since I've been working at QEP I have seen atleast 3 Corrados.

I'm pretty sure they are all ok. I can only think of a ignition fault or immobiliser not imobilising. Anyway of checking this?

Battery is fine. Starting has been a bit iffy for a while, but only yesterday when it started not doing anything at all.

As title says. I turn the key, fuel pump primes but it doesn't turnover. It does start every now and then. Had AA out and they found power goin into the starter motor but not doing anything after. He said the fault is there. Changed the starter motor but still no difference. Any suggentions would be great.

It annoys me after just washing and polishing my Corrado and as you drive off you a get a a trickle of water run out from the roof rails and down the window. I spend ages trying to soak it all up when dring but you can still never get it all.

Just wondering if the gear ratios on a 16v gearbox are the same as VRs? My 16v runs out of puff at 125, but wondering if it shud be faster.

As every other Corrado owner I am in real need of the uprated headlight wiring loom. I have read all the pages in this section and ws hat I can work out is that nobody is making these anymore and that the best way is to DIY. I have found a number of these on Ebay ranging from 15 - 38 pounds. Are the higher price ones the same as the ones that someone here used to make. The other option I'm looking at is to buy the 6000K HID kit from some Chinese company on Ebay. Only thing that worries me is blinding everyone without projectors as the beam pattern isn't reall up to it. Can anyone shed any more light on the Ebay uprated looms?

Looking good mate. I really should get some pics of my 16vT and put them on here. Only thing I don't like about it the 16vT conversion is coz it is a 16v nothing really happens until higher revs, but then alot of things happen.

I fitted a Wolfsburg badge on the rear panel of mine for the simple reason the old VW badge fell off and this filled the space nicely.

Not sure what is on there at the moment, but I would have thought only a 60. So a 90 would be fine i guess. Will get onto Euro Car Parts to get some prices. I believe they do a buy on exchange basis. Cheers mate

I have a 2ltr 16v Turbo and the alternator has just packed up on me. What would be the best 1 to replace it. Wouldn't mind having a higher ampage one so can cope better with all the extra electric equipment I am running. Thanks

Very nice mate. Gotta love Satin Silver Rados. Just how mine looked when i bought mine. Except mine came with Polished Estorils. I really need to get some updated pics of mine on here.

I have just got my Corrado 16v Turbo back after alot of grief from being messed about for nearly 3 years by useless companies.Finally went to G-Werks who did an excellent job (Cheers Darren, owe you one). Will get some pics posted soon with all the spec. Alternatively my car will be at No-Rice in Guildford so come and have alook. :)

My Indicators are not working, changed fuses but nothing happened. When I put the alarm on the indiacators flash, so the bulbs are ok. Anybody have any ideas what the fault could be?

I used screws to secure the grill to the front panel. Then used the glue to secure to the ends to the headlights.

Quickest car I've been in has to be my mates 2 ltr turbo Nova (purple one on 928 rims) 270BHP + 40 shot of Nos. Quickest car owned will be my 16v Turbo Corrado when I get it back

Saw this down G-Werks a few weeks ago. Colour is quality, looks cool on the silver roses!
