Yes sounds like rear bearings are shot - good news is that they are £8 per side from GSF and simple to fit..... I'd do rear discs at same time to be honest.... Basically take the calipers off.... undo the bearing... slide the disc off.... the remove the bearings and carriers....replace with new stuff... chuck it all back on and do up bearings just do the washer can move... then finish it off.... A Golf Haynes manual will take you through it step by step... Ive done it myself couple of times. New pads, discs and bearings for rear can be had for £50 from GSF Scott chers mate i just bought the pads but ill go back tomorrow and get the bearings,i got new rear discs for my dads mk3 aswell, so unbeliveable the same problem has happend on both cars at the same time now you go and figure this out :roll: :roll: :mad:

my right rear wheel started making some noise sounds like 2 metal pieces rubbing. My brake pads are really low and im gonna change them 2day,but i jacked the car up and found out that the rear brake disc wasnt siting tightly had slight movements from side to side. Does this mean i need new wheel bearing? The noise comes on and off randomly but mostly comes when im driving slow, is really anoying as the noise is loud and nerve racking, has been going on for about 3 days now. Any1 else has experienced this and how much stuff is involved in changing rear wheel bearing, i also think my rear callipers are siezed :(

right ok it might be wrong but i have actually read the manual about this and also talked to my mechanic,if you let the car warm up it wont come if you rev the car from cold above 3k the light will come on as simple as that,now you can say whatever you want but i have read this from the mnual,it says the light should go of if it dosent contact mechanic. I may be wrong about the cold oil and low pressure but i cant figure it out :shock:

hi there, another G owner :D it really depends what cam you get,some of them are designed for above 3k lie 268* or others, a cam would ive a a max of 5-10 hp if its done right, best way is to have u head throttle body ported inlet valves with a r1 build charger so you can let hte car breathe freely and with a nice big intercooler :lol: nearly got lost there. In what con is u charger as i just blew 1 not to long ago so beware of that. tell u the truth havent really driven a 16v to know the diference but the g60 has got some tourque up the ass 8)

its normal for the light to come on and the buzzer to start if you rev your engine over 3k rpm when its cold,the oil is cold therefore cant flow freely to buil enough pressure its even on the manual if u read it but it should go off in about a minute or 2 untill the oil heats up.

i get this sometimes but only when the car is cold and if i rev over 3k rpm after it warms up sound goes off.

im down for this, whats the update on this, im puting the new charger on with intercooler so the 3.5bar fpr and a remap would go really nice. let me know :D

im geting the intercooler of a company does intercooler for rally cars and stuff. I was thinking of puting it below the rad, I dont see how i can put it in front of the rad as htere is no space unless i move the rad back a lil bit. Iv heard the rallye still restricts the charger as the bend is to steep so it would restric air flow a bit,not really sure if its gonna make a huge diference. but less bends you have the better air flow you get but infront of the rad is a bit tight, im also gonna put some spray nossels and conect them to screen spray nossels and use the sreen wash resevour when i need it.

hi,do you have any price yet on the rsr outlet,as im geting a r1 charger i wanna change the plastic box for the rsr outlet. Im also changing the intercooler,i know you do ally work so im asking you would ally tubes or any other metal be better than samco or other plastic hoses for heat dissipating. Also would there be any diference in boost or flow rate by playing with the ic tube diammeter? I wanna get the best airflow as possible and found a new intercooler measuring 680mm by 80mm by 160mm.How much would the ic tubing cost if u guys desing them. thanx

hey man that kit is nice,most corrado kits swit the car not liek other cars. Without going to extreme a nice front bumper side skirts and a rear lip or lower rear bumper lowered a bit the C looks awsome.

car has 120k,i would strongly recomend you to get it serviced dont underestimate it like i did bad mistake.

charger was rebuilded once car has 120k was dome by jabba when car had 60k i believe. In the last 3 months i could notice the car was slowing down and last months was doing 160m on a full tank. last week i heard some wired noise that sounded as if it was coming from alternator but it dissapered. After 2 days it siezed up,no casing damage on outsite or any major oil leak also bearings inside seemed ok all the casing spiral thing was mashed up to pieces. Any1 know BLADE in this forum????? He is sellin rs2 serviced chargers, is he some1 that i can trust on purchasing a charger?????? Many thanks. Just finished the bypass and the car feels different,is not as slow that i imagined it would be,anything i should watch out on runing it with the bypass???

hi,andy i send u pm. Lol i donot think i wanna end up with another g60 first i aint got no space and my dad would shot me :lol: . You know that guy blade fro germany he said he can provide chargers serviced and ported rs2 for 650 quid. is he relaiable and if so what quality products has he got. IM just finishing bypasing the G and have some fun on the 8v thanks

:cry: :mad: EVeryones fear on a g60, it happed few days ago,its just a reminder that u should service u charger regurarly,im in the proces of bypassing the scharger and have some fun on the 8v untill i find another charger or switch to a turbo. I guess is to late Darren :mad: . Added a few pics for the fun of it. By the way im pissed :mad: :mad:
