Well looking at the haul of trophies you have got from last season and reading your post there is not much point in making the mammoth trek from scotland to the major shows to compete!! My wedding is on the 3rd of june so I may get the car up to spec after that as i still have my mk2 runaround and should have some spare cash floating around also. Would really like to see your car in the flesh though lee and Mr renshaws but I work offshore month on month off and was away for most of the shows last year!! If i am home for e38 this year i will try my hardest and be there wether I have the car sorted or not!

I flew from aberdeen to Luton then taxi to northampton and then drove the 400 odd miles back to aberdeen!!! Just like that!!

I am a bit of a metal fan so play, Trivium, Chimaira, Machinehead, Slipknot, Metallica, Roadrunner united and the like but also listen to Killers Arctic monkeys, Paul weller and the like when the Missus is in the car!!

Souns like a relay to me and the burning smell would have been the coil in the relay!!

The second pic down is wicked!! Car has a great stance and presence!!

Another way round this is to take yer mother shopping so that everything is technically correct!! I park my car in a whole world of it's own in the tesco car park if i must and never take it into the town centre just get the bus!!

The thing about the car is that i really don't have much time left in my time off to tinker with it after seeing all my mates and hanging over a lot!! Not done a thing to it apart from put in my sounds(Which i still need door pods to finish) in 8 months of ownership and I bet I have covered less than 3000 miles. Money is a bit tight at the moment too as I am getting married in June so we will see what happens on the corrado front after that!!

I was kinda thinkin along the same lines and have had my feelers out for a cream recaro interior but they all seem to become available when I am away in africa!! Being stranded up here in the north east of scotland isn't too handy either for getting hold of nice stuff as u probably have to travel a long way to get it!!!

No updates other than it is sitting in the garage doing nothing cause i bought a mk2 golf for winter. I also work in west africa month on month off so next time home I will be trying to get some things sorted out!!
