A truly unique, unmolested Corrado VR6 in its original condition, full extensive SH. The V6 engine is creamy smooth and pulls effortlessly. A proper performance car absolutely amazing to drive. No funny noises runs sweet and pulls very well instant acceleration and no hesitation what so ever * New MAF fitted (1/12/14) paperwork to hand including the old MAF. I replaced the MAF because I noticed the car hunting at low revs and cutting out, at first I changed all the ignition leads, which made no difference however after getting some advice of the-Corrado.net forum, I installed a new MAF, it is running and idling as it should * ISV removed & cleaned along with the throttle body * Breaks Over-hauled including rear callipers, new pads & disks, the break master cylinder has benefited with new seals * Engine rebuilt back in 2007 & has been kept in dry storage by the previous elderly owner * Brand new bespoke exhaust system fitted including silencers, this was due to the original one suffering from rust, its not a boy racer type & not loud, exhaust has a life time warranty, will need transferring over to the new owner * Tyres have plenty of thread, original alloys have been restored back to their natural beauty no scuffs or curbing, the alloys where covered under 6 months warranty but expired in November, spare wheel along with tools are in the boot * Oil has recently been changed, along with the oil pressure sensors, they looked very old, these are known to leak oil so I decided to get this changed. All receipts and paperwork available I also have pictures Body work is in very good condition for its age, no holes, rust or hugh dents, however paint could do with a good buff as its showing some signs of age this is the only bad point I have noticed. Front grill, badge & front lip spoiler where dull so I had these restored in a nice matt finish. I have also got the windows professionally tinted all round which includes a 3 year guarantee. Interior is absolutely mint, standard cloth interior with no rips, no excessive wear to the steering wheel or gear shifter, everything works how it should, E/Windows, E/Mirrors work as they should, sunroof has started playing up so I have disconnected it from the switch. I have gone through some effort and re-done the miserable grey head lining in to a very expensive black velvet material, I have also done the sun visors and sunroof switch panel in triple velvet (faux) to break things up, it looks and feels amazing, I wanted to add a unique feature to the inside, the grey switches have been stripped and painted black to finish of the look. New LED white bulbs have replaced the yellow ones including the passenger sun visor. I have pictures to highlight the work as it progressed. Heating system works fine all heating stages work as they should, the old heater matrix was replaced with a brand new one, interior lights all work and there are no missing bits everything is totally original. Switch for the spoiler is working and is a very cool feature on the Corrado. CD player fitted but this is not the original one and does not come with the car. Ryt so i changed all the HT leads also fixed the PCV valve checked and made sure no pipes loose, disconnected battery for 15 min fired her up and damn same issue lol.. Took it around the block drives nicely but soon as revs drop she knocks of... Cant get hold of VAGCOM until weekend... Any other suggestions gents?? And thankx to all for the much needed advise

Thank you guys i have ordered some new leads as i no num 2 is playing up it has been taped by previous owner to stop it from arching ??:scratch: will see if this helps if not then i shall go through other suggestions mentioned above.. Also excluding number 1 and 2 leads the rest have some sort of tabs on top to pull the spark lead out is this normal? Or a modification.

Hmmm I shall go down the suggested route, it dont seem to pop much just poor idle and cutting off at low revs

Hi guys im having a similar issue and i could do with all the help please :shrug: started the C up yesterday and it just cut out on me, tried again, it turned over but was very rough seconds later it cut out again, i then tried to re-start but all i got was this strange noise, tried again and it fired up but was very rough and lumpy, had to keep foot on throttle to stop her from switching off i managed to get her home and could feel a very minor judder almost as though she was missing slightly, i had a nosey around and found HT lead 2 was arching! Gave it a slight pull and out it popped i then Re-fitted this, checked the rest of the leads and found lead 1 loose so i gave that a push down, it all seems normal now but still having issues, lead 2 seems it has been fiddled with by previous owner has tape around it??? so will pick up one later on but for some reason i feel this is not the problem.. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated she is all i got the BMW is in body shop and i cant get time of work so need to get her up and running soon as cheers all

Stripped the interior out, cleared all the Cr**, stripped the roof lining and re trimmed in velvet with thicker and patterned velvet in sun roof area and light switch area inc sun visors, painted the switch control panel (lights,sunroof), installed LED lights in sun visor, painted front grill and headlight surrounds inc VW badge in Matt black, will do the front lip today.. Oh and the sunroof stopped working tried to repair couldn't be bothered so left for another day..

Just purchased policy from Chris knott - spoke to a gent named Paul Channer was absolutely down to earth, straight forward and quoted me HAPPY.. He catered for my needs and was very understanding and helpful would defo recommend to all !! Once again Thank you

Today discovered the dreaded PCV valve thing has broken got a quote from the VW stealer and Ford both to expensive :shrug: dont know what to do.... Can it be blocked of rather than hav it to vent bk in or stick a catch tank on??? Any advice gents please
