To be honest that sounds like a good option as I do agree re covering the underside with sealant - just I want to keep the car looking as good as it does now and am getting paranoid Lol! Especially as its out on a road all the time and a daily drive and even more so now as we go into salt on the road time! So your saying - maybe just get a steam clean after the winter, check over and rust treat cover seal any areas where there is rust?

Thanks All Being lazy and not having anywhere to do the work I will probably have to get someone else to do it for me - its probably worth doing just to be on the safe side and keep it looking good. Once spring comes I don't mind doing minor mechanical and body work Thanks all for advice

Not going to be doing a huge mileage as I only work 2.5 miles from home but she will be a daily drive so want to protect her from the elements. don't think I will get chance before the spring but can then get a really good chassis steam clean to get rid of the grime and salt and have a good look at her underneath. Then decide on the way forward if not to bad will probably just do it myself - but equally may pay out the £2-300 it will cost to have it done by someone who knows what they are dong - found a couple of companies on line not too far away - but cant find any reviews. I will then do the top (detailing myself) - get her gleaming for the spring! Starting to build up a little list of niggles - that I want to sort - I am starting to save up now LOL!

My ABS light keeps coming on every now and then Most its off but its been on twice) - (brakes feel fine) could this be a sensor problem - is this a common fault? Will get it checked out after Christmas - haven't got time before then!

Lol - just found the post some of you were talking about when I joned the forum a couple o weeks ago!!! OK i'm the one who bought the car and you will be glad to know I dint pay the £10k - apparently they wanted to make some space for new stock. Joking apart though - she did polish up really well - although as my daily ride not so shiny today due to the recent weather - will be clean again on Saturday. Drives beautifully. Although there are a few minor faults to deal with. Hope to meet up with a few of you next year - i'm no expert and would welcome someone in the know taking a good look over her to see what problems I can expect or things I can do to improve the car! Just need to find a decent garage in Swindon who can help me look after her.

Will top it up and keep a very close eye on the levels - thanks

Me again! Ok - just taken a look at the coolant is just below the minimum level - can this be topped up with just water or do I need any particular coolant. I cant see any record in the huge file I have of what has been used in the past - can you mix? Oh and had my initiation of owning a Corrado - and my first expense - new battery on Sunday - no biggy I suppose according to the records the last battery was 7 years ago Thanks

USR and Green or red sounds good - and not because im racing and need the extra stopping power - but less brake dust and longer lasting sounds good to me (along with better brakes)! And if it helps resolve the problem - then all the better So from the rear - would this need a full re-build with new calipers as well to resolve the handbrake issue?
-
Its a drone I suppose and not even applying brakes - I had read somewhere that the green stuff pads were really good and less brake dust and less effectec by rust? I want to keep the car as original as possible (but im not going to be anal about it) - and am thinking changes to the brakes in this way don't really count - will see how the noise goes and once I have saved my pennies - will look at the brake set up all round May just do the pads with the original discs and see how that goes? Cheers
