I've just checked my new C for fault codes and it's coming up with 00513 engine speed sensor is this normal because the engine is not running,or does it need a new sensor :roll:

I can't see anything in the service history saying what grade it is.I wouldn't have thought that a mainsteeler would put the wrong grade in would they :roll:

I've just bought a 1993 VR6 with full vwsh and it's ALLWAYS had mobil 1 engine oil put in when it's been serviced.Should i carry the tradition on and keep on using it or change to synta instead does anyone else use mobil 1 ?

I'm picking my new C up on sat and when i went for a test drive i noticed it doesnt go up until approx 60mph,on my previous C it went up at 45mph why is there such a difference? Also Does the 16v spoiler go up at a different speed to the VR6?

I might move mnie to above the headlight switch as it looks pants where it is at the moment :(

My buttons are the same as yours dinkus but where yours are mine has the controls for the heated seats :)

As above really . I'm picking my new VR6 C up at the weekend,just got a few questions really Who is the aircon system made by i was told it's possibly italian ? On mine the control's for the aircon are where the ABS light usually goes and the ABS light's been relocated to just in front of the gearstick looks a bit strange, where abouts has everone else got their abs light. Any other info would be appreciated :) Cheers Jason

Cheers for that i just can't decide weather to buy another VR6 or go for a G60 i really fancy a change. I've just sold a VR6 golf and before that i had a VR6 Corrado... Decision's Decision's..... :roll:

Is there such a thing as a late spec G60 ? I'm looking to buy one and was wanting to know if they have the electric window switch's in the lower part of the door and also do they have the round heater control panel in them any other info would be appreciated :wink: Also how do you do the boost pressure check using the MFA Any links would be helpfull !! Oil temp sensor is connected up already and i dont think it would reach round to the temp sensor :? any other ideas ? The other wire has got a white tracer on it.I could do with someone who has got 2.0l 16v ideally to have a look for me :)

It's a brown and white wire on the left handside of the air filter box. 2.0 16v C by the way Any idea's on this green one,come's out of the wiring loom just behind the dizzy Cheer's in advance :)

What grade of oil are you using? If you're using 10/40 try using a different grade of oil either 15/40 or higher, that might improve it, that's what i did with mine when it started to oil the plug's up. I wouldn't worry about it really it's probably going to be expensive to sort out. :(

Is that definate as i've heard a few mixed reports is it not possible to diagnose engine related fault's on a 1993 2.0L 16v corrado?
