Sorry Yalan i realised that after i posted  .I know how to wire it up now i just can't seem to program it properly :x
-
I'm having problems wiring the total closure up properly at the moment it's wired up to the normal central locking output and the pulse isnt long enough to close the windows.I'm pretty sure it should be wired to the white wire that is dedicated to the window closure but i can't get any power from it and i've tried to alter the settings in the programing but i'm still not having any luck and starting to wonder if the alarm itself is faulty  Can anyone help PLEASE

Joe M Have you got any leaks on the exhaust at all leaks on joints etc can make the lambda reading too high, make sure thereare no leaks.I checked mine at work after i took the cat off and i'm pretty sure it was just the co that it would fail on..

Just carrying on from my other post really had anyone got a DAB equipped headunit ?I've just been looking on Car audio direct and they've got a jvc-kddb711 for £159.99 does this need one of those fancy aerial's tomake it work or does it just use the standard aerial?
-
What about alpine are they any good ? I would also prefer it to be black so it does'nt stand out too much to potential to the local scum..
-
Any recommendations ? I've got a kenwood headunit at the minute and i fancy a change as this does'nt like playing CDR's plus it's pretty old.Are there any particular headunit's that cope with firm suspension better than other's as my currant headunit skips quite a lot as well. cheers

I've just had one fitted to mine and there's a problem with the total closure,When the alarm is switched on the pulse isn't long enough to close the windows :( How can i sort it out so that it work's correctly at the moment it's set to 3.5 sec's and this is not enough to close the window's.As far as i know the guy that fitted it has wired it into the same place as where the Piranah alarm that was fitted before was connected. Is it just that the programing is not correct or what? When i called him out to have another look at it he wired a relay in and said that the polarity was incorrect for the total closure :? . If anyone hs got any wiring diagram's and info that could help ni would really appreciate it. Cheers Jason

Rodders did you mannage to cure the water leak? Mine had 2 different water leak's on that side of the car and water was dripping onto the ABS controller, one of the leak's turned out to be due to the badly fitted A/C the intake for the heater box had been badly fitted,so now i've refitted it and all's well.Just need to sort that other leak out now but it's only very minor and i'm not quite sure where it's coming from.

What dammage did they do when they tried to start it? Also what alarm have you got fitted? -
I don't know what make it was it's a universal type that needed some bracket's making up for it to fit.Other than that if fit's perfect :D

My Miltek fit's perfect ! It's not exactly rocket science to adjust it correctly, has the straight intermedite pipe been cut down? i know on mine it was too long at first so i had to cut it down to stop it catching over the axle. Are you sure whoever has had a go at fixing it is any good?
