Anyone got a clue I'm really up the creek without a paddle PLEASE HELP lol even if its jsut a picture of where the release is/lookslike/ and is mounted thanks

Hey I just spent the better part of an hour trying to catch that damn release....thres no way you can get to it with your hand the radiator support is in the way....i took the broken cable an tried hooking the spring with no luk... ran it right up next to the hood (directly undernearth the waether striping part) over to the side of the car where the hood meets the side fender and pulled it up and then front.... am i not in the right location? Is the release lower? I'll try taking some pictures tomorrow i guess to show you what im doing.... I'm guessing im missing the latch all together...because im not exactly sure where it is and what it is...kindalike trying to find a neddle in a haystack....maybe a bit more detail then jsut hook the latch would help me, thanks again

I need the simple and eaisest way to do this, maybe with some pictures... I have the dual pod the runs up the side of the window between the windshield and the drivers side door... i want to do this without opening the hood because well if you read the problem section youll find out mine is stuck down right now....i know it can be down wihtout opening the hood!!! and what tub do i need to splice into for the boost....and i assume easiest place to run the wires too is the fuse box??? but if not let me know.... thanks zack
-
well thats not my problem at all...i tried pulling it through..it had snapped up front near the hood release, i alreayd got my grille off since i bought a better one anyway, but when i went to pull the cable it was gone it snapped somewhere above the radaotor near the release....best i can guess, i need to know how to get it open without the use of the cable....thanks again zack

Yes the steering is very very heavy when going to park, its not so bad at higher speeds but its a pain in the ass still.... and yes of course i bought the small charger belt to go with the setup..., although it is ona different set of pulleys so it wouldnt matter but yes i bought the riht belts.....it jsut seems very odd and i cant figure it out help....lol
-
yeah the belt is fine..... and I'm almost sure its not the pump, i dunno why it would work right before and not after the upgrade....and the pump seems to be fine, Ive had about 5 different people look at it... wondering if its an underdrive problem or sorts... thanks
-
ok, so I did a bahn brenner stage 4 upgrade, all the goodies, but my car doesnt handle for shit now. It's like there is no power steering at all! Is it because I changed the charger pulley? Anything that can be done to fix this? A corrado is nothing without its cornering =/ been like htis for a few weeks and i can figure it out!!! Anyone els ehad this problem? Do i need to get a differnt power sterring pump ...or pully.... im using a 65mm on the charger now....HELP ME lol zack

I have an American corrado with my pod that fits on the drivers side side windshield thingy, and i have a boost gauge and voltmeter to hook up.... can anyone give me that basic rundown and easiest was to get that dash apart and such to make this work and the best hose to tap into for the boost gauge thanks

Yea I was very dissapointed with the R32, but as for the WRX my brother has a 2004 wrx it's quick but it was nothing terriably special.... I guess its jsut the shock of getting 40ish + out of first that makes it seem so nice.... thats the only thing thou.... jap gear boxs vrs. euro gear boxs, my brother thinks im jsut making up excuses but jap cars are made to go 0-60 end of story them stop getting impressive after that, euro gear boxes much like the one in the corrado are very slow compared to jap gear box..... but once you red line 2nd and hit 3rd you jsut look back and say "see ya later" rados were truely made to travel and be smooth at high speeds. So basically if your toasting a japense car off the line and they arnt ahead by the time you hit 3rd they are screwed, and if you r up to speed there hopless....dunno if you guys know this but it is a fun little fact, if you take any other car and are going down the road and you both shift into 5th doing 20mph and see who gets to 110mph first the g60 corrado will beat almost any car that way and any VW easily, it beats the vr6 by roughly 6 seconds :D stock that is
-
Well I'm not too sure about the Z06's and im not to sure about what exactly your corrado specs are vr6 or g60 and how heavily moded it is, but I'll let you know that my dad had a 1984 vette with a 327 in it that makes about 550 bhp, you would prolly need a vr6 turbo to keep up with a Z06, but as far as that 327 vrs my g60 , yes they are quick out of the hole and from about 80-125ish i pulled a lot harder then his 327 but when he shifted into overdrive and exceeded 145ish mph i couldnt keep up, as for corners a properly tuned vette will handle like a dream, rwd with the right tires sway bars and suspension handles awesome..... i know i've only driven his not a stock vette but if you were up to speed with him like 75-80ish you would have no problem keeping up with a HEALTHY g60 and thats the key HEALTHY, if you have a vr6 you should be able to keep about the same if you list your model and more specs I can prolly give you a better idea or strategy cause trust me I hate domestic American crap and would love to see a little 1.8 or 2.8 keep up with that damn thing.... oh ya another note last years vette was compared to a f-14 in some magaize so hmm just post your specs and we can figure something out
-
If you leave anywher ein the New England area in the USA plz post here, I was hoping that we could get 10-20 corrados together and have a lunch and cruise day or something, It doesnt really matter what condition your corrado is in, we can get together talk about mods and such, jsut a thought been trying to get people together for a while now, but there arn't to many corrados around..... plz post here or msg me on AIM screen name is "Zackm8"

well the verdit is in, in 15 years Volkswagen still hasn't managed to out do itself. I was very dissapointed with the R32s power, although it could have been the kid driving, It didn't seem to have any more pull the a VR6 rado at over 120, the car did beat me out of the hole but once I hit third I got up and left him, the R32 does pull hard over 120 as it did make up a bit of ground but nothing more then a vr6 rado, All in all they are jsut to heavy and there weight/power ratio isn't very impressive, cars are jsut too heavy these days. Anyone runnng a G60 with 215-225 BHP range should have no problems with one of these r32s, you should leave it pretty easily.... IF its bone stock!! If not im not sure, but there youi have it, I got a video of the race but it came out pretty shitty im gunna try to lighten it up, if it comes out better ill post it up

OK so heres the deal some good for nothing rich punk jsut bought a R32 I was wondering how my rado matchs up agianst it, for those of you who don't know I have a pretty heavily modded g60 now which pumps out about 240-245 horses (hasnt been dynoed since recent mods) .... I know that 3.2 puts out a solid 240 hp, but how heavy is that thing? Like most vr6 a4 4-motions, it has to be pretty damn heavy, Just want to know If any of you boys have driven one compared to your rado or not, I'm pretty sure I can outcorner him, as hes not a very good driver, and 80-140 I think I should be quicker. All in all jsut need others opinions before I go out and race it

Thanks man thats exactly what I was looking for :D

My brother did a custom grounding kit on his WRX, and I would like to do it to mine, I need 6 good grounding points in the engine bay. I've found 3 ok ones, what would you guys recommend for grounding points, preferrably the best 6.
