Yeah I used a pair of blunt nose pliers to remove my each time!!! So Buy a new corrado coolant bottle and find a used mk4 Golf blue cap? Or shall i just try a blue cap 1st to see if thats leaking? Just to be sure Er I have no head gasket problem? :shrug: Right, guys? :eek: :shocked!:

Oh So new Corrado coolant tank does NOT come with blue cap???

Leaking from hole(s) i think.. So replace coolant bottle?

Think its leaking from under that black cover trim on right of pic...do i just pull it off??? :shrug:

Black cap looks dry and top 1/2 of bottle clean too! Just bottom half wet!

U sure guys???? Just dig this out and :shocked!: BLUE bottle it is! Where VW? Full concentrate or 50/50? A litre enough for the bottle?

Not concerned with parts, Chuggs. Its the work involved! :eek: Any tips (from one novice to another)? :lol: 1. Drain whole system (from where? Need to lift car)? 2. Fill up (how much coolant)? 3. Thats it? Why blue cap?

Slight leak from coolant bottle ... Not enough to leak onto floor below though Dosent seem to leak from black cap (top 1/2 of bottle) Certainly some leak from 1/2 way (sitting on the lip?) So where is my leak? And is the bottle made in 2 halves (just tighten it? But how)??? :shrug:

Looks similar Outer gasket Inner seal (goes around bolt) Nut (with the spikey other side to dig into ceiling when tightening).. I can take pic of my OLD gasket later tonight if u want me to? But bear in mind mine may not be OEM ...

If no luck anywhere locating alarm Then try behind centre console (take underside storage/panel off under steering column) Mine alarm not a TOAD though ...
