Thanks... Don't suppose anyone has a couple of grill rubbers spare? Misplaced them, had some spares but ive lost them as well. Cleaned the other headlight, and the grill. It looks a lot better than it is in the pics. Need to paint the vw badge black as its crappy peeling silver.

Top one sits behind the fuse box cover, if you remove fuse box cover you will see where it slots on. It should be fitted into the carpet if its the bit im thinking of.

Hi mate, sounds like the relay has gone.I believe its the second along on the bottom row of the fuse box. Neil.

If you use the 'ties' that pass through the rad, id recommend passing them through, stick the square clip on (but these don't hold well) so then stick a chopped off tie wrap head on over that... Much more secure. Neil. :)

Started getting into the nooks and crannies... Spoiler is well past being saved so ill probably paint it. Removed it to get in underneath, removed the wiper arm too. Can see the crap and faded paint. Looking a bit better. Here you can see the crap under the lights/faded paint. Removed. Minted. Refitted. Had to break off the number plate as the screws were well rusted. It was at this point i thought, looks alright that...And then had a word with myself. Im going too far with it man... Neil.

Interested tohear how you get on with fitting this, as we couldn't get one to go on a mates corrado. The strengthening bar is in the way :? Neil.

Id incorperate the intercooler into the top and bottom panels to become the strength 8) Good strong brackets at each side top and bottom or sommet. I decided lower down in more dense air was better. (And i wanted to do the silly number plate thing) :lol:

Perfectly fine imo, the pipework could end up better too, possibly less distance/less angles. 8) Charger side looks the hardest for piping up in a smooth/transitional way... Neil.

Its more likely that when the wire is on the sender, the wire isn't earthed to the bracket...and when a temp is reached, the sender then earths to the bracket/as does the wire,making contact... :) I still can't find the bloody sender though :lol:

Haha cheers guys :D Aqua, yep..was thinking of holding a block of wood inside the door and keep tapping away with the plastic hammer (nice weighty one). Ive already knocked it back flat quite a way...but a little more would be good. 8) Will clean the bare metal up, flat it off, prime and skim some filler over/prime as you say.Then paint. 8) The handle isn't sticking open anymore either 8) It was catching the door but its spot on now, all wd40'd too. Is it tornado red this one guys? Neil.

Good secondhand radiator arrived...£15 quid inc p+p ! Fitted the painted fan cowling etc... And popped back in the car, just need new fan switch etc, already got the g12+ and new expansion tank. Refitted the bumper: And started repairing the damage to the door where somebody tried to break into it. Here's the damage after removing door handle: Hard work to straighten out as where its bent up, there is a second skin and it was tight to get sommet in there. I went through the hole where the handle bolts up with a screw driver,and tweaked it back roughly into shape. Much flatter now, there were two large gaps before...Not sure what to do with it next... Neil. :)
