My cable has snapped but i am currently opening the bonnet my removing the grill and pulling two little handles at each end of the cable if that makes sense. Is there anyway i could modify this to work without buying a new cable?

Ok, so i removed the interior panels and had a look at the pedal. How can i remove the cable from the pedal?? Theres a spring with a little ball at the end which is fixed in the fork. Can someone help please?
