    Hi thanks for getting back to me. No, not really booting it and it never used to do it and i`ve had it for over 10 years. Something is up, just not sure what!

    Hi has anyone come across this problem? Took it to my local garage (ESP in Long Easton) but they were not sure of the cause so were reluctant to advise/guess a fix which might include the clutch and/or gear box. It still drives well after taking off but worried in case it escalates into something major! Any help would be appreciated Thanks, Iain VR6, N plate

    thanks for that i will give it a try i hit a bit of metal on the A1 and it went through. i`m probably lucky i didnt go up in smoke! out of interest how much did the head rebuild cost?

    After a couple of years of good luck, fate has kicked me in the arse! First the sunroof goes, then £400 on brake related things then I puncture my fuel tank on the A1. All in one week! VW has discontinued the fuel tank so i`ve been quoted £400 for a custom made from Germany plus £300 labour. Can anyone help, the part number is 535201075AB, its on an N plate VR6. Thanks for any help

    Hi sorry to ask but i assume this is still sold! Sods luck i`m in NG10 and my fuel tank ruptured this week!

    My VR6 has 105k miles and thinking about reconditioning the engine, can anyone recommend somewhere local please? Also if my bank balance stretches also looking for a re-spray Thanks for any advice
