Cheers. I think it's safe to say she has lost them just need a good clean as they have been sat out in the garden for over a year.

In my opinion if you paint the black plastics metallic black it breaks the colour up but gives a better shine and doesn't fade or require greasy shine products that get all over paint work plus no need to be so carful when waxing. I hate it when you get white smears on textured plastic and a nightmare to get off.

Hello all have been meaning to start a build thread but have only just learnt how to post pics. It's a 92 red G60 in standard form. It has done 138k with a recent charger rebuild by jmr along with re con vr6 gearbox and clutch. Engine is sound but the same cant be said for the body work. I have already started the repairs with re spray of drivers side rear 1/4, door (damaged by scum bag when trying to break in) front wing and bonnet. Here are some pics and will update as I go. Got the promoter some where in the workshop. Time for a spring clean.

Grey or red scotch. You can really see the colour in the last pic. I think green is one of the best colours for the corrado.

Yet another question that has probably been asked many times. I currently have no speedo rev counter mfa and clock. Checked fuses and all ok. I have read that it's possibly a bad earth? Where is the earth likely to be have traced back from batt but have only managed to find 2 earths 1 behind batt and 1 which bolts to the block but all the others seem to run into the loom tape and can't work out where they go. Have had fuse box out to try and trace but not able to trace. Could it be a relay? Temp gauge and fuel gauge working ok. Please help. Also indicators have stoped working is this linked or is it likely that I have done something when fiddling with fuse box?

I wouldn't do a full re spray for less than 2k for a basic job. Is it metallic or non metallic. A lot will depend on condition of car rust dents etc. like has already been said you can save money by striping it yourself and doing prep work but a lot of places won't take it on if they don't do the prep work. Be wary of anything under £1.5k.

Welcome. Been on here since April and the questions that I have answered have been invaluable so don't be afraid to ask. People on here seem to be a lot more friendly than on other forums I'm on for the golf. Is the car red, pink or white as mine is the same age and all 3 it's almost like a camo effect lol.

Had the same problem. Sent about 15 different emails and got 2 replys. I looked at it like if they can't be bothered to reply then they are not worth dealing with.
