  1. Foookin hell Karl, that were lucky! Glad you and Corrado are ok!!
  2. Some updates Just had to change the ignition switch, as it was getting really dodgey, and what a total tw@t it is to get out too!! Used the guide on the Wiki, though and thank god for the cushion idea!! Here's the old one The clip that holds the end of the bonnet release has also snapped, and the bugger is obsolete. Bloody VW! Have got a mate who is breaking one so he's sending me the clip next week :)
  3. Riley, I've got to be honest dude, but I think you have had schitt load of bad luck with your G60. I know that there are common problems but it seems that you've had them all!! Its a shame really, cos you now think that the Corrado is a schitt car. I do agree with you on the MK1 front though. Dead easy to fix anything on them, due to their total simplicity. Had two MK1 GTi's myself!! Not too keen on the Mitsi Lancer myself, but I can see the attraction... mate of mine had an EVO IV and loved it.
  4. Is you spoiler a Kamei one? Like mine I think! Same wheels too......great minds and all that
  5. Nice standard car there dude, and glad to see you're adding you personal touch so quickly  Any plans for the engine given that you've had a taste of a charged VR curtosy of MI5 VW ?? Quite like the look of you old Colour Concept too!! (Does that make me a "true dubber" ?? )
  6. Had a couple of none-VW cars in my time, but wouldn't buy a none VAG car now. True dubber? Probably!
  7. What an absolute sh1tter! Can't believe it took 2 1/2 hours for the AA, that's ridiculous! Was that the lowest priority list then?
  8. Welcome dude! Very nice tidy standard motor. I'm sure it wont stay that way for long. I'm definately with xbones when he says suspension first!!!
  9. See, I was gonna say that, or 16vT power of course..... 8)
  10. Ah mate that is sooooo w@nk :( Totally gutted for you, but as others have said its better to know what happened than to be sat there wondering. So, so gutted for you....
  11. That's a bit sexual to be fair..... :luvlove:
  12. Good lad!! Roo on here has tidied his wiring quite substantially. Apparently he's managed to loose most of it behind the dashboard....
  13. Nah, I don't think I'll be going that far! Most of the wiring has to come out for the Megasquirt, and a custom loom made up for that. Only orig wiring will be for the headlights, indicators horn etc. I'll be checking over that to make sure the wires are sill in decent nick ,and re-wrapping it to clean it up. But that's about it! At which point, hiding what minimal wiring there will be left would be easier then surely??
  14. Are you going the whole hog to try and hide all the wiring loom in the chassis memebers and behind the dash or not? Can see that being a pig to do!
  15. Its started in ernest now then??!! 8)
  16. How the hell did they get past a cat 1 alarm? the immobiliser should have kicked in... What make was it dude? Did you get it fitted?
  17. Cheers dude. Trip down the stealers later then!!
  18. Yeah mine snapped on the mechanic too, unfortunately the mechanic (well kind of) was me! :(
  19. Ah mate, that's proper schitt! Lets find them and knee-cap the backstards!
  20. mrsb never used to want to watch it, and now she does! Silly fast car reviews and a load of entertainment chucked in for good measure. I love it. It's popular for what it is not what it used to be.
  21. I quite like them! Good skills.....mmmmm turbo  Did you get the MFA working in the end?
  22. Put the car back together as I've run out of money for the MS conversion at the mo and the bloody bonnet release cable has snapped and my battery is buggered!! Any idea how much a bonnet release cable will cost and what the part number is too? Also, my ignition switch seems to be playing up, so to start the car I need to wiggle the key in the barrell. Is it the barrell that is at fault or just the starter switch??
