  1. Yes that would be great buddy - much appreciated. I already tried VW Heritage + VW Classic parts - but out of stock. Lets stay in touch. Ill see what i can track down.
  2. Yes adjusting it made a difference - but still left with very occasional stalling once in a while - maybe just once a week now.
  3. Yes i know what you are saying the new ones are strong money. I saw some advertised in the US for in excess $130. I got a slight stalling issue now on heavy braking and deceleration and changing down approaching a junction. I had the breather valve replaced by The Phirm and that made a big difference, however even though massively reduced there is still a small stalling problem - they said that to absolutely illuminate the problem i needed to get preferably a new throttle dash pot.
  4. Throttle dash pot part no. 034133283 required. Im still struggling to source this part either new or used. cheers folks

  18. Late Sports cloth interior 181000 miles It comes with a heavy heart that i finally arrived at the decision to say adios to my VR6 which i that has been my daily drive for the last 18 years. Purchased as a part exchange from TVR dealership in 1999. Although the mileage is relatively high at 181000 the engine is very strong and sound and has never had any major issues. The car has always been driven responsibly and never thrashed like many of the VR6s out there. There is no sign of any timing chain or tensioner work required. The car has been meticulously maintained to a high standard and mechanical work only carried out by Stealth and The Phirm over the last 5 years. It still pulls very well and is a pleasure to drive. The body work is in excellent condition with no rust. Recent 3/4 body work respray. Smart dent repair specialist has recently taken out small knocks out of driver and passenger doors. Recent refurb of Speedline wheels The interior is pretty close to immaculate. Front drivers seat bolster recently replaced and in very good condition. Just a couple of pieces of loose trim. 12 months MOT. Part service history. 3 keys. Literally 1000s of pounds splashed on it especially over the last 2 years. Good points: Interior: Immaculate interior, carpets in great condition, replaced driver seat. New Corrado steering wheel (VW Classic) New (1 year) Alpine stereo with iPhone, iPod, iPad connector New (1 year) Sigma alarm New glove box door (VW Classic) New interior light panel (VW Heritage) Very new gear selector surround (VW Classic) New headlight switch (Corrado forum) All electrics work including sunroof and rear spoiler All switches operating fine First aid kit 3 Keys (VW main dealer) Exterior: Bodywork recently resprayed + original speed line wheels refurbished (18 months ago) Rear reds fitted + resistors + orange bulbs (6 months) New (1 year) front grill (VW Classic) New (6 months) front lower grill (VW Classic) New (6 months) number plates front and back Mechanical: Very good shape - Tim of The Phirm (Corrado specialists) will vouch for it. Engine runs fine and car pulls very well. New coil pack fitted (RAC) New battery (3 year guarantee) (RAC) ABS sensor and interior light fixed (Stealth Racing) New oil cooler unit + seal (The Phirm) New HT leads + plugs (Stealth Racing 6 months ago) New gearbox mount (The Phirm) O2 sensor rewired (The Phirm) All oil sensors renewed. (Stealth Racing) Oil sump gasket replaced Heater matrix replaced (3 years ago) New exhaust bracket New engine breather hose replaced New rear wheel bearings + re-greased rear brakes (The Phirm) Very new aux drive belt 7PK 1290 (The Phirm) Bad points: Front drivers seat only tilts forward intermittently. Gear selector surround does not illuminate - bulb/bulb holder needs to be replaced. Looking for a figure of around £3450 ONO. 19. Thanks for the offer, but would prefer 100% black with door cards included. Thanks all the same.
  20. Thanks JIM for detailed reply. Yes i heard about the dinitrol stuff and i know its expensive. Is that only applied under the car is that right? You do all this work yourself or can you recommend someone? You know how much someone would charge for the whole treatment? thanks
  21. Can anybody here recommend a good rust prevention treatment to preserve corroda body work, floor and subframe, etc. Im guessing it would include using underseal as one of the treatments and/or maybe powder-coating? cheers
  22. Have you got a mobile number i could forward the photo too?
  23. How easy is it to send a photo here?
  24. I believe it is called this: "Rear Lower Exterior Door trim blade moulding" Maybe its the same thing?
