Hi All, i am struggling to find a replacement part: The RH Rear Lower Exterior Door Trim (thin black plastic composite strip) It seems to have liberated itself from my car in the last few days. If anyone know the part number that would also be useful. I have driven around to all the places where i have parked and driven over the last few weeks trying to see if i could locate it discarded at the road side and even checked my local car wash to see if it had come off there. I would greatly appreciate if someone has a spare they are willing to sell. cheers Guy

No me neither, I did a screen grab of the car and enlarged in photoshop and adjusted the levels to see if i could see in through the windows, but still too much reflection.

Thats £2k more than i paid for mine back in year 2000 with a similar mileage.

I have owned a VR6 Midnight Blue automatic M843 JPC for the last 17 years. Body work has really lasted well and the engine/transmission just keeps going without having had to do any major work - apart from head gasket. Gearbox still works perfectly after 179K miles. Gulp!

I made an order at 9.30am this morning for €102 euros and realised that i could have done it cheaper through Heritage and so Volkswagen Classic in Germany let me cancel my original order and said they would return the payment. I then got onto Heritage to get them to order it. Maybe you have still got time to cancel your order if it hasn't already been dispatched.

I just ordered one of the trims part no. 536 863 209 J 4FB. But instead of ordering from Volkswagen Classic Parts in Germany for €102 euros (including €35 euros delivery charge) I got one of the guys at VW Heritage to order if for me from Volkswagen Classic Parts, Germany instead. They quoted me £43.00 including delivery. They had a total of 3 of these items left in stock. Now only 2 remaining.
