    Ok Stone, you've got a deal. What it is that has actually happened to mine is that the thin plastic ribbon with the hole for the gear stick in the central grove has snapped in two. It sounds like my numbers are in the same condition as yours so no need to swap them over. If you could just send me the complete plastic ribbon that would be all i need - should save on the postage too! Much appreciated.

    Hi Tom, Thanks for your quick reply. I actually have the sunroof motor sorted now. What i a looking for as far as the gear shift is concerned is the plastic facure on top of the surround for an automatic gearbox. So it will have the P, R, D, 1, 2 and 3 on it. Its not the surround below. It will also have a long thin slip of plastic with a hole in it that the gear stick goes through. If you have that part then i would be interested. many thanks.

    I am very interested to get my hands on a working sunroof motor for a late Corrado VR6. Also interested in locating a gear stick black trim surround (base of gear stick) for the same car.

    Struggling to find for late 1995 VR6 Corrado. It is the interior black plastic casing at the base of the gear stick that i require if someone can help. many thanks

    Thanks Harrier, i will give that a try. A VW mechanic recently told me a new ABS light switch would cost me £125.00 and that there was only one left available in the UK...
