    hi Mike, well theres a few people who can do the conversion, heres just a few for you. Dubunit :) storm developments PSI tuning Dubshack strictlydubs mv developments TSR so you do have a fair amount of choice, it all really depends on how much you want to spend, and also what parts you do actually have for the conversion ie full loom with the factory ecu etc etc. karl

    well i haven't been able to do much lately :( but i'm planning a full day on friday getting more done. on sunday at Prescott i bought one of the Dubpower R32 conversion 6 branch manifolds from Pete at Dubpower. this will make the job soooooo much easier, and will get rid of the crappy standard very restrictive manifold, pete told me that just by fitting this people with standard R32's have seen a 25-30bhp increase 8) karl

    theres no need for primer with the simoniz stuff either.

    hi Andy, well i did a home re-furb on my RC's, the edges had some rather nasty chunks in them, i used something called Mettalik from halfords, just fill in the scratches/dents with the stuff, let it dry over night and then sand it down till its flat. i used some simoniz acrylic engine enamel on the alloys, and itys very very tough when its cured, even when the tyres were put on the engine enamel was not damaged at all. karl

    i would love to say i bought it?? but i was phoning the guy all day friday/saturday and he never answered :( so obviously he sold it very quickly on the friday :( oh well that leaves me with more money to spend on the house???

    no problem, the engine has been ut of the car about 2 weeks, yes its a standard lump. the grey corrado met its end when it was side swiped on the rear quarter while parked up :( and i'm 99% sure that all the mounts are still on it. if you have anymore questions please just ask. karl

    what a **** job, done mine twice so feel you pain, to get the centre consol out completly. theres a screw behind the left vent that holds it in place, but you cant see it as it's screwed in vertically. just prise out the air vent carefully from the centre consol. if you break anything while doing this?? let me no ASAP as i have a centre consol, and working heater controls for sale. karl

    So you do mate. Only problem is getting it from you as I live in Edinburgh and I reckon postage would be on the expensive side. I've heard that the fuel tank is the same as that from a MK3 Golf, can anyone confirm? i can get it sent for approx £20 mate, so not that bad. karl

    looking very nice Rich, the brakes are very easy to fit mate, if you get stuck let me no ASAP. I have done the 312 conversion about 8 times.

    theres a guy in the Erdigton area that breaks corrado's, hes a bit of a t**t but he has/had a us front slc bumper about a month ago, he is mates with the guy who runs TSC car sales in Swadlincote, so you may be able to get he's number off him. karl

    cheers Fay, i will be coming up in my brothers Hilux as i'm bringing some wheels/exhaust to give to VAG-HAG plus i have all the bits from my brothers corrado to sell.
