  1. when i had my vortech v1 on my vri noticed a slight improvement in fuel economy while doing "normal" driving, but if you realy go for it :) you will obviously use loads more fuel. but what the hell, its worth it for p*****g on an m3
  2. cheers for that Shaun, but you could possibly be to late???
  3. go on then Tom you start then
  4. have a safe trip with all the seamen Michael, and see ya when you come back up for air.
  5. sorry Andy i had forgot about this :? but i have been concentrating on bigger things at the moment. i will be looking into these seats after the r32's all done. karl
  6. cheers Chris, i think the rotrex will not be making it onto the R32 :( but dont worry it will still be FI'd :D
  7. Hi Chris, well i was going to use the throttle body off a alfa v6, as it bolts straight into the R32 TB, Storm use these all the time for there R32 conversions so they must work?? but i just wanted to keep it all VW :) and also the Alfa TB is 67mm in diameter. i will see how it performs when its installed but if i have any problems with it i will look into the 034 kit :) i have diagram one sitting on the kitchen floor at the moment trying to figure out what each plug is for  but i notice on your JPG that all the plugs are numbered, have you also got what plug is for what?? "please say yes" i'm also not sending my loom to Storm to splice the Emerald onto as i'm hopefully buying a 2nd hand DTA ECU 8) but i need to locate the R32 engine loom wiring diagram as i have the joy of splicing the loom to the ECU. But luckily for me i hope to have some expert help. as you can see my loom was very much butchered when it was taken out of the donor car, so theres abit of work looming for me soon :( karl
  8. many thanks to 4low the lights were spot on mate, and very quick delivery A++++++++++++++++ karl
  9. i just snipped the wire off completly, and put a rubber bung in the hole. looks much cleaner. karl
  10. well getting ready for Friday, the day the R32 starts to get put into my car  so have prepped the manifold in readiness, dont know why i'm telling you all really?? just getting excited i suppose :D karl
  11. well i've had my Weitec TX's on for about 2 weeks, and all i can say is awesome suspension 8) i wound them down to 120mm and they were still comfy, i have since raised them as you cant drive it around here safely that low. the rebound is very very good also, its almost as comfy as standard suspension. i rate these coilovers as good/better than the H&R's i had on before, and also miles better than the konigsports i've had also.
  12. What? though i was right, but like i said still a nice motor :) i can talk though i've got 200000 miles on mine 8)
  13. where abouts in the country are ya??
  14. looking at it i would say its got 250000km on it not 25000km, not being rude mate. But it does have some heavy swirling/bits missing/dinks. but still a nice looking Corrado
  15. i have been told by a couple of reputable vw "specialists" to change the spark plugs for E46 M3 plugs, as apparently the standard plugs are prown to throwing there ends?? and the BMW spec plugs dont?? anyone else heard this?? also i'm having some adaptor plates made in stainless, so you can use your old vr6 TB on the R32 engine, i was gonna use the alfa one, but being an alfa part it would probably break while putting it on  karl
  16. i dont think you will have trouble selling them.
  17. i will be selling these alloys in the next couple of weeks, 7.5x16's with virtually brand new Bridgestones 205/45/16's £250 and there yours. karl
  18. i'm going for the stripped out look in the car very soon 8) i have seen the seats i want, but cant seem to find anyone who will ship them to the UK?? does anyone have an idea where/who stocks them in this country, heres a link from vwvortex http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3852263 karl

  21. oh yeh sorry forgot to mention that the ISV has been cleaned.
  22. i have had a quick search, but can peeps with a vr6 that kept on stalling tell me how they stopped theres stalling?? the car in question is my brothers, we have changed plugs/leads/lambda sensor so far. as these are fairly cheap to replace. i cant swap ECU/MAF over as mine are different to he's. :( the car will stall for no reason at all, there is no pattern as to why it will stall also :? there appears to be no loose/broken hoses in the engine bay either any info/tips are very much appreciated. karl + lee
  23. thats much better than the pimp my ride things you had on before :)
