my 95 vr6 has got 125.000 miles on it and i cannot find anything in the history upto 110.000 miles that says the timing chains have been replaced? how much should i expact to pay for the chains being replaced, :?: many thanks in advance :D

i looked at this conversion late last year, but obviously my balls are not the size of yours?? what figures are you looking for, are you doing the cams & getting it chipped, cause that was what i was gonna do, all the best with this job mate, :D -

saw a lovely clean corrado today at about 2.30 in the berni royal car park in sutton coldfield aqua pearl blue L181 FOV. very nice :D

try brentacre insurance mate, they were alot cheaper than adrian flux & hic when i insured my car. and very helpfull :D

have spoken to the guy with the alloys they have an et of53, thay were of a 328 2001 model, but he says they are not at all standard equipment. will go in person on thursday 2 see if he is number dyslexic, cheers guys :D

ok so the 5 x 100 means you have 5 bolts 100mm apart. but what exactley does the et mean? i have a rough idea but not the exact reason :?

in a local bmw breakers he has a set of bbs rcs 7.5 x 17 with an et of 53. with some 20mm adaptors. if you can get them? would they not fit? he only wants £150 for the set. :(

i have noticed that you can get bmw bbs alloys a lot cheaper than vw bbs alloys. dont know why?? i know you can adaptors for porsche & merc wheels. but what about bmw wheels?? any help is appreciated :D

well thanks 4 the advice guys, apart from the one about giving it her up the a**e? she likes that already?? but been shopping AGAIN today & she is very serious about going on the insurance. shes gonna phone my insurance company tommorow and get a quote. i just may phone them up first though :D

after having a few too many beers on friday night :D the missus wanted to go to asda shopping :( i said i cant drive yet because im over the limit, so she comes up with the idea that why doesnt she go on my insurance so in the future she can drive my car?? how can i tell her without insulting her that there is no way she will ever go on my insurance??? :D

yeh i was looking at that. but i have a k&n induction kit allready fitted ( love the sound ) so is it worth wile changing that? :)

science was never my strong point at school!!! apart from installing a fridge in my engine bay? is there anyway 2 make the air colder all the time? sorry if im being stupid guys :oops:

since the weather has got colder my vr6 is a lot faster. the pick up is a lot better and it now feels like it should do. does this mean that there is something wrong somewhere?? :)
