  1. Thanks MZpog. The one in your thread looks like the one I need. But I'm not 100% sure. Does anyone know which rear console piece is in a late VR6? Is it the one with four square holes at the back, or the one with the extended piece at the back like in MZpog's thread? Thanks.
  2. Gate cover kindly provided by Lilfuzzer but I still need the handbrake boot and rear console.
  3. Hi Would anyone be interested in buying black leather door cards? They are from an earlier car (window switch on the card, not on the pocket). Condition is very nice with just minor blemishes. They come with the pockets and speaker grilles. For now I just have the front door cards for sale, not the rears, although the rears might become available later. Just gauging interest. Please either reply, or send me a PM if you're interested. If there's any interest I can post photos. Thanks Paul.
  4. Hi all Is anyone selling the following in BLACK for a late VR6? Rear Console - part # 535864263 A Handbrake Boot - part # 535711463 Gate Cover - part # 535867601 The rear console is the later version with the extra bit sticking out at the back! The gate cover is the bit on the tailgate that surrounds the locking mechanism. Small part maybe 9 inches wide. Thanks Paul
  5. Hi folks. Bit of a long shot I know: Is anyone selling black leather door cards for a late VR6? (Part No's 535867013A and 535867014A I think). I also need the pockets with speakers and speaker covers. I don't actually need the rear cards as I already have these. But if someone is selling a full set, and won't split, then I'm still interested. Cheers! Paul
  6. https://volkswagen.7zap.com In case you didn't get what you need, this site seems to list part numbers for every nut and bolt.
  7. I've bought what I thought was the right replacement B pillar trim. Part number 535867285B. I haven't yet removed the existing trim but I've now seen there's a "C" version of the B pillar trim. (ie 535867285C) Does anyone know what the difference between the B and C versions is? And which is right for a late VR6? I don't want to remove the current one just to take a look because B pillar trim is a fiddly job and I'll probably break it! Many thanks.
  8. Hi folks. I recently bought a set of four black leather cards for my late VR6. Like a giddy kipper I didn't realise the cards were the early version - the ones with the hole for the electric window switch. My question is: did the rear quarter cards change from early to late spec? I think the late spec part number is 535867035A but I can't see the number anywhere on my cards to check what I have. Basically I'm wondering if I can salvage something and still use the rear cards. The front ones won't work and I'll need late spec ones. Any help greatly appreciated!
  9. I think that demonstrates that How Many Left can't be taken as Gospel. At least not for specific variants. It says there's about 10 Storms left. For a rare, special edition to lose 98% of the cars in just over 20 years is pretty unlikely.
  10. Grey 16v spotted in Wilmslow last Friday.
  11. Thanks. Were all the leather ones heated? If so, is it possible to retrofit the heating element when swapping the fabric seats for leather ones? Cheers.
  12. Does anyone know how much a set of normal leather seats would cost, including door cards etc? i.e. not Recaros. In this age when originality is king, would it be the wrong thing to swap fabric seats for leather ones?
  13. They're all a hell of a lot older than when this thread was started.
  14. There was a Corrado with 316k miles for sale not long ago.
  15. Looking good fella. Glad you got something interesting.
  16. Wow, that's a bit special. The only problem is that you just wouldn't want to drive it and increase the mileage. Mine has 57k and I don't want to increase it too much, but at 3k every 10 miles would hurt!
  17. Is that somewhere near Old Trafford? She just didn't give a ****. Mumbled something about being sorry, but immediately caveated it by saying she was told she could park there. So it couldn't possibly be her fault. She'll think twice next time.
  18. Thanks all. Being a spanner with the spanners I see words like "take" and "remove" and come out in cold sweats, but I'll see what I can do!
  19. Hi all Sorry to start yet another sunroof thread, but I'm very new to Corrado ownership and there are so many sunroof threads that I can't find one that describes my problem. Basically, my VR6 sunroof tilts and slides as it should, and the switch seems to work every time. The problem is that the sunroof parks in the wrong position. So if I open the sunroof fully (slide), then hold down the close button the sunroof will close, but it's final resting position is tilted open about 2cm. Similarly, if i open it to full tilt, then hold the close button it stops in the same place, at around 2cm tilted open. So to close it properly I have to get it to this point and then hold down the slide button to make it come down the final 2cm, and quickly let go of the button before it starts to slide open. Any help is most welcome.
  20. Could be googling, but they do come up with things like "You could order your 1958 De Soto with a AM Radio for $127.25, whilst the 250 cu in engine with four-barrel carb would set you back $317.55", so they do seem a bit more specific than simply saying the VR6 came with a 2.8 litre (sic) engine. I'm not sure if people want that detail about more modern classics, but it's certainly good detail.
  21. It is a bit irritating really. I also read Classic American, as I have a Challenger, and the detail about models from the 50s and 60s is amazing (of course, they could be getting it wrong though), but I do wonder if the information is more readily available for the American cars. They love their statistics over there, and it seems to extend to intricate knowledge of historic car options.
