Hi Gang. After sorting the car back to an OEM look to sel, I've got these two bits for sale. The grill is free and has a tab missing and a bit on the slats. It still attaches without issue and looks ok unless you're looking a foot away. The lights have zero damage/marks and include bulbs, holders and nuts. One of them has water in as i had to flush out a dead spider! It's cleared now. My pic uplaoder is broken so you can check them out here - http://s459.photobucket.com/user/jc_sutcliffe/library/Rado%20Lighta Looking for £75 posted. I saw them for sale for £60 over five years ago. It's all boxed up and ready to ship.

Ah ha! A thread to vent my anger to! :-) Beware the user g60knight A couple of weeks ago I put my car up on the Facebook group to show it was for sale. Someone helpfully suggested I get an oem grill and rear lights to bring the car back to a more buyer friendly look. They offered me a price for both and I said I would get back to them. Mike called me shortly afterwards (I've bought parts from him previously) and said had had the bits. I said they need to be not broken in any sense as I am selling the car. He guaranteed me they were not. I send him some pics of everything else I needed too and we agreed a price. When they all arrived I started to fit the parts and found most of them broken, incorrect or missing - Front grill - three broken slats and missing tab Heater panel - broken bulb Radiator cover - missing from the box Radiator mount - broken and missing the bolt Seat rail cover screws - wrong size Rear lights - fine Fog light - fine Lower screen cover screws - fine I stressed that all parts needed to work and he knew how important they were as I told him I was selling the car. When I finally spoke to him the next day I could not get a word in and he kept mentioning that he waited ages (two years ago) for some suspension i was selling him and that they were extra parts in the box he didn’t want. A strange excuse for my broken/missing parts I bought off him. Again, I don’t want anyone else to have the same issue. I have essentially paid £150 for rear lights, a fog light and three screws. This is not the first time the parts have been poor quality. I don't recall his username on here but perhaps someone can chime in. When someone pays a lot for parts that are promised are working, I would hope they would arrive. I've not heard anything else for a week from him so assume that I have lost the cash. I've bought the parts elsewhere now. I’ve called and text him multiple times now with no response. Below are his contact details so please avoid any contact from hit trying to sell you parts. You wil be buying overpriced broken parts! Mike Mehub 0xxxxxxxxxx [email protected] [email protected] Removed phone number by request - Toby

I've just gone through my messages and it is def g60knight who is the seller. I've also found previous messages of me gettign annoyed about broken parts. Please avoid everyone. He's made no move to right the situation so it does look like he is a dishonest individual. Shame.
-
Indeed, I'm very upset by the whole thing. We don't have the usual eBay/Amazon guaratees on car forums. Just trust and the hope that everyone is honest. I've just had a look through old messages and i think the guy's username is g60knight. Any other bits i'll be sure to come to you guys! :-)

Hi Gang. I've been cotemplating about writing this all week and have decided too as I don't want anyone else to lose cash or time. If it's not appropriate then please remove it. Wanted : Show Spec / Big Spec G60 or Vr6
jaybo replied to Adamladder's topic in Cars for Sale [Corrado]
I've got a lysholm powered g60 with a hell of a lot of spec :-). Are you stil looking? -
Jesus! I think I might just sell mine then ;-) Ok let me know if you can't get rid.
-
Will you take £100 for the pair? I bought a perfect complete set with door cards for £300 recenty.
-
Yea the float is fine and I do get different resitant reading on the fusebox side so the float and wiring looks good. Ahh didnt think of the coolant sender to be an issue. I'll get one today. That just leaves a poss faulty fuel gauge. Do these things usually go bad? I read that the needle can come unclipped?
-
So an odd issue that i've not been able to search for in the forum for this exact problem - The fuel gauge in my car has never worked but is reportign correct resistances up to the fuse box side. IE the sender and wiring are good. The temp gauge never reads past 70 despite it being a hot day and revving it hard for a bit. The oil temp looks good but no movement on coolant. All the other bits on the dash work fine. Could this be a shot coolant/fuel sender pod or more likely voltage reg? Would a shot reg only affect these two? Cheers
-
Hi guys. I'm missing the bulb holder + bulb from the lower row on my G60 dash. Anyone have a spare they can post? Cheers.
