  1. That would be superb, let me know what you find! Thanks Andy
  2. Looking for a Corrado G60 CBA Gearbox, must be CBA as i need the 62 tooth crown wheel. Would happily take a full gearbox, or just the differential / final drive if available. Let me know. Thanks Andy
  3. Chris, i'll Definitely take a set of brackets. Let me know when they are ready and i'll send payment. Andy
  4. The secondary air pump is definately relayed, originally in the little square relay box ont he loom (you may not have this now??)# If you do have it all you need to do is put the relay in, and it'll think its ok, as all the ecu sees is the rleay coil load. Cant rememeber if the evap is the same or not, i suspect it is. Might be a case of just throwing the relays in if the plugs are still there. If not then go back to the ECU and see if the wiring has any tails from the connetors that you could wire the relays / resisitors onto. If i were onshore i'd get the diagrams and give you a hand, but not back for over 2 weeks.
  5. My understanding of the coding was that it removed the requirement for the map to read the secondary lambda inputs, but the ecu may still actually require to see that they are there (ie either wire them in or put resistors in to simulate the electrical load) Same goes for the air pump etc. Yours is an early setup with the seperate coil pack? Dave reckons as mine has the later coil pack on Plug setup that i can actually code out the Air pump etc, but even if i cant i'll just either wire in the Relays or resistors as required.
  6. Any contact number for dubpower??? Dropped them an e-mail from their website, but usually easier to phone about these things. Andy
  7. Surely just rotate the oil cooler housing so the pipes are at the top and you're sorted. :confused4:
  8. I have got the VR 12v thermostat housing on!!! But there are 3 water points on the front, two from the block and one from the crack pipe, the crack pipe and one of the outlets goes to the oil cooler, the other has no where to go, on the 24v golf install the third outlet is used for the aux water pump feeding into the bottom rad hose, however i'm putting the aux water pump in the stock 12v position. So the third outlet needs something done...... Hence the question :?
  9. Just a quicky - What did you guys do about the extra Water hose connection on the 24v block , thats is used for the aux water pump feed on the MK4 install?? I a running corrado hoses so will put the Aux pump in the corrado position at the side of the ehad. Did you boys just blank off the extra port?? Cheers Andy
  10. Depends which set of wiring diagrams you look at. You should note that there is also a common 'speed signal' line in the car which is also output out of the ECU via the orange air con connector, to loom connector 'A27' I'm pretty confident that its an RPM signal the clocks could use.
  11. Pin T121/37 (121 pin connector, pin 37) on the wiring diagrams is labebeld up as "revolution signal engine control unit" I was interpreting this as a direct rev counter driving signal. It goes through pin T10/9 (orange air con plenum connector) direct to the Instrument cluster. I was going to run this direct to the rev counter feed on my MK3 clocks. I have both VR6 and 16v clocks so can try both 4 and 6cyl setups.
  12. Snap, i've not got the throttle pedal plug either. Cant spot the part on ETKA either to go order one. I've got the right diagrams, got a copy of ELSA here, so can ull anything i need, 2002 BDE is my code. I've got the connector pins tabled so i can try and match it into the Golf fusebox (should be same as corrado) I've got a fair bit of space behing and around my fusebox as i run a MK3 golf dash in my MK2. Doesnt seem to be very man wires to actualy wire into the Car to get it running, Once you take out the blue throttle pedal plug and the orange air con connections, you're left with very little.
  13. Was under £400 to have the phase 2 and lambda defeat done - they've got a 30% discount on the go at the moment. The ECU i had already had the immobiliser defeated. Dont think getting the ABS disabled is needed, it may throw a code but shouldn't stop the engine running right. Quick question though, i'be trawled through all the BDE wiring diagrams and have identified what should be the wires on the plenum connectors that need wiring into the car, but what is the small relay panel you've got in a couple of your pics? I've only got the two looms that come from the ECU, which terminate in the coloured plugs in the plenum chamber. I've got the relay box attahced to the loom thats in the engine bay, but no relays, which relays are in there?? (I'm offshore workign at the mo, but got the wiring diagrams with me, but obviously unable to check the actual looms)
  14. Just had my 24v 2.8 ECU remapped by Custom-Code to phase 2 with the secondary lambda defeat applied - shouls simplify the installation a little. Been studying the wiring on ELSA, doesn't look 'too' bad, a lot of the econnections can be ditched. Just need to get my hands on the connector for the throttle pedal.
  15. I'm putting a 24v Lump into my MK2 - should be fun. . . . . 8)
