Hi guys and gals changed the control unit and same problem as before. Power to motors but no power to switches. Anybody experience anything similar or know whats up with it?

hi Saw a blue storm on the a27 this afternoon and a black h reg on the a23? was on my way to Stanmer Park for the cruise from guildford when i saw the storm and saw the black one on the way home

seen this yesterday......Navy blue, didnt catch reg or anything really lol, stuck in traffic coming towards bromley, you looked but i didnt have time to flash or wave (havent got used to switches yet lol) Saw today a 16v or G60, not sure, navy blue, extremely low, black steels, top of herne hill.....i was in the mk1 jetta anyone?

i have the same problem :( comes on when i first start the car then goes out (as it should) then sometimes whilst driving comes on for no reason and doesnt go out but if i turn the ignition off and back on again , the light stays out

I dont have heated seats. The fuse was fine so thats why im wondering if there is a relay for it

We have checked all the fuses and replaced the duff ones. Does anyone know if there is a general relay for the leccy windows, sunroof and mirrors? btw ive got a beesting loom on the way :)

Thanks guys, went for another drive today :D Its been a hard slog and theres still a few things left to do but its nearly there and it drives great

We did replace a gearbox mount as it wa cracked so i gather thats why its out. Not really sure when and where im getting it fixed.

Hi Guys and Gals I am having trouble distinguising between first, third and reverse. I go to put it in first and i get third and reverse is rare as an orange storm!! :lol: Has anyone got any idea how to fix this. Its not a huge problem as i just drive off in third if i cant find first and avoid reversing :lol: Thanx

Hi Guys and Gals We Spent most of today fixing things on my C. Replaced some fuses, got the headlights to work, got the rear driving lights to work (reverse doesnt work yet though), changed the thermostat housing and seals and replaced my headlight switch. Decided to take it out to see if the water leaking had stopped pissing out everywhere. Was a bit nervous as i was waiting for something to go wrong but luckily it hadnt after about half an hour so i decided to put my foot down. WOW, i now know my spoiler goes up at 60 :D and down at about 0 :lol: It felt so good, me and my hubby had so much fun and really enjoyed it. I scared some woman half to death by the looks of it as she went a bit pale as i turned round and put my foot down for another go. :lol: I think we have now found......the grin factor!!!!!! The noise is amazing, i am so pleased!!!! We are waiting for a couple other relays to be delivered and then hopefully the leccy windows, mirrors and sunroof will be working. Also need to find a beesting loom and then we can put the carpet down and the door cards on!!!! :D Just thought i'd let you guys know :D
