AND YOU STILL HAVE NOT SENT THE MONEY!!! ITS ABOUT PRINCIPLES & SCRUPPLES! WHICH YOU khurrado SEEM TO BE DEVOID OF ANY, think the Artic Monkeys wrote a song about you!!

yeap towards the centre dont have to pull simultaneously, individually is far easier, shouldnt need anyone to hold the bonnet down or help flick it up either, the bowden/teleflex cables are notoriousley shit when they get kinked. Happy hooking Alex.

Put a torch on to the subject or strip light from underneath then find a coat hanger manufacture a straightish piece from it, ie snip of the twisted bits then put a small hook on the end bending it right back so the hook is a small diameter and at the other end put a 4 inch 90 degree bend in which will make it a handle. From the grill part assuming thats out! go fishing, basically hook the bonnet release mechanism loops and pull them towards you .

Seems like khuraddo has got some explaining to do

have you checked all your lines for a vacuum leak or the rocker cover breather theyre prone to splitting as they come off the back of the rocker onto the inlet plastic pipe. A little trick for checking vac leaks is too spray wd40 whilst at idel speed over vac points and pipes youll notice an audible change in the engines running whilst it temporarily seals the hole.

not sure mate but im as intrigued as you to learn the answer

Finally the new Dub Project.... Another set of wheels!
Johnboy98 replied to 24V Renshaw's topic in Members Gallery
I really do like these cars all be it they could have given more performance on a 4 wheel drive and they are very understated (see border line boring) but thats not to say I wouldnt have one they just could have been so much more but then again that would mean no R32. How much did you pay for yours Jay and whats the mileage on? -

Evening all just a real quick question as im 90% sure that 2.8 and 2.9 heads are the same but could somebody in the absolute know confirm for me :?:
-
doubt you'll fit it in a weekend as a first time fit, when guys who do it for a living take 3 full days. Dont under estimate the size of the job its all straight forward engineering but fairly labour intensive. £300 is a bargain for a full system is it direct injected into the manifold or the venturi throttle body type?
-
Nope youve got no chance for a goverment grant im afraid, they put toll to that years back now the only way they give you grants is on cars no more than 2 years old and listed on the powershift register, cars that basically allready emit very low hydracarbons for there engine power......I dunno go figure that one thats not exactley pro active for getting more peeps on board just sounds like their making an effort ...W*****'s the lot of em!
-
Bugger...mine has just failed on the PPM's, think the lambda is goosed!
-
If the engine is running sweet then you should easily be around the 220Bhp mark, a cheapish mod would be to fit an enlarged throttle body then get it mapped to make use of all that extra air shes breathing.
-
Its very common these days but can be a bit centralised ie near big citys or on major routes. you can also download an overlay application for microsofts autoroute to show you there whereabouts. You can longer have the filling points in the boot as its against health and safety regs. Heres mine http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=48215

As dubburke said the government would get slated if they were to start heavily taxing LPG as with global warming being incredibly prevalent at the moment and for all the foreseeable future then IMHO they are not going to start on that track. 2K buys you a quality system and an equally matched install, there are a lot of "Fly By Night" LPG installers out there so be very cautious on who you give your money to. If you need any help selecting one then give me a shout.
