  1. Hi there,

    For those that are interested:

    Golf R32

    Wheel type = OZ Aristo

    Wheel Size = 7.5 J x 18"

    Offset (mm) = 35

    Tyre Size = 225/40-18

    Studs = 5 x 100 PCD

So the answer is yes they would fit VR6 models but would require a bit of arch modifications to get the wheels to fit underneath

    Cheers

  2. LOL

    Nah mate,

Just invested a lot of time, patience, trust of people (Bilal, G-Werks and Star Perf who all did a great job )and cash into my G60 which is nearly complete engine wise, bar a few other bits and pieces...-watch this space....,

Will do a full feature with photos (including shiny engine bay..,) in Members forum page when I get the car back in the New Year,

    Cheers

  3. Hi

    Ess Three

I know it's large and will prob. get a pressure drop, but it's no bigger than a Golf G60 full width intercooler so won't be that bad especially with a no-lag coding chip. I am unwilling to put a figure on possible overall increases, however, I have figures from other owners with the same specs but slightly less mods, and thier figures are quite good really.

Intercooler was a bit of a challenge to fit, Had to use custom brackets and a custom u-bend with Samcos etc but just as well I had the RS bumper otherwise no room for the oil cooler! Bit tigher with standard bumper methinks ! Hers hoping it all works out ok and it gets running!

    Cheers

  4. Yeah, yeah...,

The car was up on axle stands when I was down and they just had the wheels delivered the day before so just offered them up to the hubs to see if they would clear everything / see how they looked. Wait till all the wheels are on mate and she's back down low...,

    Cheers

  5. Hi all,

I believe these wheels are Racing Heart C2 1 Piece Wheels from the good old USA. See the pic attached. These are the wheels featured on Momentum Tuning's 2.0 crossflow G60. Oh my god, I'm turning into a car junkie!! Available from Tirerack.com in the USA and wheel stokists, no UK supplier tho' AFAIK

See the car they are on at http://www.momentumtuning.com/projectca ... owG60.html

    Cheers

  6. Hi all,

Having a few problems with my G60. I have all the parts fitted by a reputable VAG independant tuners / specialists. This included a SNS chip and 30LB injectors. Trouble is, when the new injectors (Siemens DEKA) are fitted the car will not run right or idle properly. It runs far too rich and chucks out unburnt fuel to the extent of 5000 ppm hydrocarbons which is ridiculously high...,Put the standard G60 injectors in with the same mods and the car runs a lot better but still reads high CO and hydocarbon values. The CO pot has been set to 500 Ohms and cant think of anything that will cure this problem or what could be wrong. The chip is mapped for all the mods including the higher rated injectors. Others on this forum I believe are using the same mods so just wondering if someone can help cure this problem as it is driving me and the garage crazy!!!! I am suffering makor withdrawal symptoms from my C and if I cant get it to run properly having spent all this time and money on it I will be very pi**ed off to say the least!

    Cheers

  7. Hi,

If anyone requires advice on the CRX please feel free to get in touch as prior to having a Corrado G60 I had a CRX for 5 years. I was a member of the CRX owners club / forum too. The CRX SiR is the JDM model equivalent to the CRX VTEC. The CRX Si is the JDM / US version of the 1.6i-16V. The 1.6i-16V had 130 BHP and the VTEC had 150 BHP with the latter models, last few K reg having the 160BHP engine as also found in the newer VTi Civics and CRX Mk3 Del Sol's. See my comments in my prior post on the CRX, cheap to buy these days CRX's

  8. Yeah the RS bumper is necessary anyway to get clearance to fit the intercooler. Just have to think about which angles and pipes I need to get fabricated. Got the alternator from a company called Dub Club Racing in Wales,

Yes, more bling-bling shiny bits for my baby, next item on agenda is bodywork and respray, car back from Star by mid-November I reckon just waiting for last part then get pipework for intercooler made and connectors then sorted.

    Brian / dubster82

Bought alternator outright, fully rebuilt and polished but was exchange so got good deal..,as far as intercooler goes this was the size as recommended by the company that built it as they had made one already for another customer so reckon it will fit, has been pre-drilled for mounting brackets top and bottom so should be ok

    Brian / Munkay

Yeah mate, I'll be up for that just let me run in my charger first then we can go for a spin, cheers

  10. Hi,

I would also like to recommend Gman (or 8vg60 as once known) for the service upgrade, and porting job he carried out on my already Jabba'd charger. Work and finish was all top notch!

    Cheers
