That makes sense! I just had the rocker cover powder coated and when I have fired the car up, the fan does not kick in! Could this be a faulty sensor, or would the powder coat have something to do with it?

2.0 16v | green lc6v | Middlesex Price: £1350 Description: I have for sale my corrado 2.0 16v, ive had this car for a short while, i brought it to get to and from work whilst my daily was being worked on! its a great little car, mechanicaly spot on, feels excellent to drive. It was my neighbors family car for years, until he parked it up and brought something bigger. Specs: 1993 model 2.0 9a 16v engine 106000 miles eletric windows electric mirrors central locking ABS power steering electric spoiler electric sunroof front fog lights current valid mot until november 2012 tax till end of april In the time i have owned it i have changed lots of bits and bobs to make it even better for my journey to work, below are all of the parts i have changed: new hydraulic slave cylinder new accelerator cable new front engine mount new injection fuel pump strainless steel exhaust center section (straight through pipe for more power and nicer sound) new coilover suspension ( i have had it set quite low, but it can be adjusted if need be by myself, or as it comes with adjuster keys for coilovers you can adjust it four yourself) pirelli p6000 drago tyres all round with plenty of tread 5mm+ ( these are 195 50 15s) I have added a set of rare alpine gta wheels, these are great because they are standard fitment but are 8,5 inches wide, gives the car a good stance but not ott. i can arrange to take these off and supply the original estorils ther car came with, these are in great condition. i have added a much smaller 300mm steering wheel, i love it but, the original will come with it! the sunroof did not work when i got the car, so i added a glass moonroof, and i still open it manually! the original roof will be supplied bodywork i have removed the side mouldings, i prefer this look added 50mm splitter from a vr6 ( this is now very sought after and i can supply the original 90mm splitter if needed) front and rear vw badges painted black. removed aerial de wipered rear new number plates ( US size on rear, i was going to add the US tailgate, but didnt get a chance!) aero style wipers front drivers door handle repaired with kit from corrado forum ( much stronger than original) The body has a few marks and chips for this age of car and a small pound coin sized dent above the drivers rear arch, however overall there is no major damage anywhere. Overall the car is ready to drive away, and use immediatley its a good daily or could be a great base for a project. Porki, thanks for the part number link, i will contact a dealer and see if they are available, with regards to the roof, im sure theres a post on here or vortex about someone using a manual roof mech from a passat?! Making my own may be the only option at the moment...... maybe strip out the motor and put a fine thread into the allen key head to attach some kind of handle? but that wouldnt save much weight.

Yeah , i would love manual windows, just cant find a set!! also does anybody know if there is a way to make the sunroof manual?

im looking to keep a working sunroof, a carbon roof will be the next step. but for this season, i like the option of keeping the sunroof... its also less wiring, as im running a striiped down loom already, im also trying to get rid of electric windows for manual ones.

as per title gents, after some manual windows, to ditch my electrics, they are in perfect condition but im going lightweight... thanks.

Guys im after some assitance here, i have seen on a thread somewhere, that a passat manual mech can be used on corrados, any ideas on this? and more info.... also if anybody has one, they can have a perfect sunroof motor, its a track car, im going light weight.!!
