I suppose for the fact you can get better specced VR's in rarer colours like Asims for example, though having said that cars like that are hard to find, and if I had of got a VR there would probably be that bit of me that wanted a storm so I don't know what i'm on about really. I guess I just felt like if you had seen one storm you had seen them all.
Thanks for the comments Gareth/Wazzer.

Thanks mate, not that difficult to do those two but sourcing the parts is the hard bit, the washers you definitley need a donor car but the electric motors can be found on german ebay from time to time, the switch is from vagparts and the loom I made myself.
-
Yep will be there wednesday.

Thanks for the comments guys. I can't see many differences but i've never seen real LMs in the flesh, and there probably is a weight difference. They are the ones from the group buy on here, was really suprised how little difference there is between 15s and 17s in ride quality, not what I was expecting at all, I probably will only run them in the summer and they didn't cost two and a half grand like the actual ones.

They may be replicas but I like them...

I use my aircon all the time, it's great for demisting windows as well as cooling.
-
You've got aircon too so the condensor kind of counts as a radiator.

^Agreed

Shouldn't be a problem getting 6k I don't think, stick to your guns though, I sold my G40 recently and ended up getting more than I wanted because I held out.
-
Pretty sure that's Twilight Violet. A friend of mine used to have one.
-
24, 6 years ncb, '95 Storm, parked in a garage, no points, £410 with directline. I think that is pretty good, but I have been with them four years now.
-
I thought the 'winter pack' was heated seats and headlight washers, as all the other things metioned were standard fit anyway?
-
Pretty sure it's something to do with aircon, mine has aircon and is still unplugged. Must be the LHD aircon ones or something.
-
Yep very nice mate.
-
Right that's it, after seeing that top picture i'm definitley tinting my rear lights, have been uming and aring for ages.

Yeah try putting it on pistonheads I just sold my G and got the price I wanted for it.
Guess I better change my sig :(
-
Lovely mate, not sure on the badge at the front though.
-
That thing with the wires taped up is the re-circ motor for the aircon it opens and closes a flap, if it's been taped up its probably been removed.

Dragon Green by the looks of it

Nice C Ed, BBS splits have been done a lot for a reason

Looks nice mate, you're right about the colour amazing how much it changes. My friend has a Mystic Blue VR Golf and no matter how much we polish it, it doesn't flip nearly as much as mine does

Absolutly love that car, not mad about the third brake light but there's not a lot you can do about it.
Take care Lee.

Good stuff Lee, love your car.
