I've got the headlight adjuster there.

Cata, i've got a picture of the three diferent aircon buttons I own, will post it up when i can get my bloody phone to communicate with the computer. The best ones are the early mk3 golf ones as they match the other buttons, I ended up using the american ones because I had no space with the h/l adjusters in place.

Oh and do it Jay, they're pretty flexible even when it does scrape.

Yep all gassed and working, very cold and pretty useless for this summer. I can't feel a massive drain but I haven't really driven it recently, a lot of people say it does make a difference to performance though. You also see the Mpg drop when it's on.

Bought it off ebay for 20 quid, guy with a valver didn't like how low it was at the front so went for a 50mm. You do have to be careful though mine is only a couple of inches off the road and it's not that low, I think they look far better though.

Yeah you must have been gutted selling that, what colour have you got now? Moonlight Blue is my favourite, had I known more about corrados at the time I probably would never have bought a storm but over the years mystic blue has grown on me.

Cleaned it today and took some photos.

Also now has headlight washers, headlight adjusters, detailed headlights, 90mm spoiler and diavia aircon, fitted by keith at A/C Engineering and I made a bracket so I could use the american switches. Did have some Recaro's on order but got fucked over by german ebay and they never arrived, you live and learn.

Ok mate thanks, if it was just a tenner or something I would go VAG, but 40 quid difference for the same part! I'll have a think about it.

So... Are you saying don't buy it as it will break, or that it is that price because it is not an original and will probably be ok?

Just quickly, I need the belt, part number 021145933h (24,92 x 1360mm). Read a post from Kev on here saying it was £53 for a Continental one or £20 from GSF. Had a look on GSF's website and it is £15. Why is it so much cheaper? Does it not last long?

Have also found them in the states for $24.95.

hi ppl. does anyone have a diagram of how the bonnet cable connects up on the slam panel as i took mine to peices and cant remember where the little peices that slide onto the cable go. if you'z are feeling helpful, maybe u could send me a pic of your bonnet cable attachment. many thanks ppl

Don't worry about that wire, it's been discussed a few times, it's unplugged on everyone's I think. Got a feeling it's something to do with the aircon.

Does anyone know how this is held on? Had a bit of an embarssing scrape pulling out of a petrol station the other day and noticed the cover was hanging down at the back.

Any ideas?

Sounds like you've had a few problems with it considering you bought it from a dealer, hope it was all covered in the warrenty. May see you saturday then mate, you'll recognise my car as it is embarssingly dirty :oops:

Does anyone else think RX's look so different in 16" and 17"? Those pictures above look so different to what Kev's did when he had them, don't think I like them in 16".

Is that the one from Volkscars? Have to take my friend there on Saturday to pick up a golf he's just bought.
